After Saturday, do people still think Roy Jones has a "Glass Jaw"?

    Don't get me wrong, I think Roy Jones was shot to pieces as far back as the Tarver fights in '04 and I still think he was shot to **** on and after Saturday's fight, but I think he took a lot of clean punches from Calzaghe and even though Calzaghe doesn't have good power, a guy with a "Glass Jaw" would surely have crumbled late on, especially considering the horrible cut he suffered.

    Did he prove anything to anyone who did think he had a glass jaw prior to Saturday's fight? Or do you still think he has a glass jaw because he whas been knocked out twice in 57 fights, by two strong punchers, at the age of 35 and at 2 weight divisions above his original world title fighting weight??

    Never really thought he had a glass jaw - but Calzaghe wouldn't have been the fighter to prove that. Yes he landed a lot of shots - but he's not a power punch - he's more of a volume puncher.

    Yes, we saw the fight too. The question of this thread is do people think Roy has a glass jaw.

    Roy Jones has takes some good punches in his career and Ruiz hit him a few times in the fight they had. Roy does not have a glass jaw.

    The glass jaw thing was stupid from the very beginning. Tarver, a physically very strong LHW who knocked Harding back to Philly caught Jones clean who tought, but though wrong, that he could get away from the punch.

    Johnson didn't even land the final shot on the jaw. A big pressure fighter who stopped Montell Griffin attacked Roy all night without any response... It wasn't a chin issue.

    Roy's chin is good, was good on Saturday and I was quite impressed how he took all the clean body shots Joe landed all night.

    Glen Johnson a "strong" puncher? Your nuthugging knows no bounds does it? Tarver is not a power puncher either he is a good puncher but ntohing like you are trying to make him out to be. This is idiotic and delusional. :patsch

    Roy Jones has a Glass Jaw he is afraid to get hit and he was just schooled, taunted, and abused by featherr fisted Joe Calzaghe (who by the way has about the same number of stoppages as the "strong puncher" Glen Johnson.
