After Saturday, do people still think Roy Jones has a "Glass Jaw"?

Only an ignorant few beleive Jones has a glass jaw ..In Over 50 fights against nturally much bigger men he's only been Ko'ed twice ..Yet he has a glas jaw ? Why do peole even listen to these morons ?

 

Jones punch resistance is less than average. We are talking about a champion so lets not compare him to the b graders. When he started getting hit he started to get hurt. It is a testament to his tremendous fighting ability that he did so well with his lack of durability. Retirement is now his only option. That is if he wants to retain his health.

 

Joe just has a high workrate thats it. Dude punches like my aunt Selma.

 

So far I can see two Rico Spadafora appearances in this thread. One as hauntingtheholy and one as himself. More updates as they inevitably arrive

Jones has no Chin and no confidence and is mentally fragile since Tarver shattered that Glass Jaw.

You know, even if you had the mental capacity to hide the little things, like, say, capitalizing the G and J in "Glass Jaw" every ****ing time you post it, or making ridiculous statements like "Rico Spadafora just owned everyone in this thread!!" you might stay under the radar a little longer.

All I ever read from you is Roy Jones Glass jaw blah blah blah and you even said Joe would crack that glass as well.

anyone could capitalize Glass Jaw. If I start nuthugging Roy does that mean I could be an alias of yours? People are going to have different opinions on here and not everyone is going to worship Roy Jones.

 

He only proved that Calzaghe has barely any power....

 

I don't think his Jaw has always been bad just that his punch resistance has gone along with the rest of his boxing faculties over the last 4 years. A decent puncher would KO Jones now imo - not to say that's always been the way, his chin was obviosly good during his peak years.

The way he now timidly holds his guard so high is quite telling.

His chin isn't glass, but Calzaghe has no punching power at all, so i felt the fight proved nothing in that aspect.

 

You guys have to admit, although Rico is annoying, he is pretty funny. Just for the simple fact that he always mentions RJJ name, in a great majority of his post and always in a negative light.

It's amusing to see a person so obsessed. And it is kinda funny to call RJJ glass jawed joke Jones.
