Suppose you were assured that, despite the beating and the pain, you would be completely back to normal, with no long-term damage, wouldn't you take it for $5million ?

A $5 million annuity would pay you $306,000 annually for the next sixty years

(That's 4,400 Euros per week for sixty years).

I'm sure she had her doubts about Shannon... up until she realized that he just "got destroyed" for a six-figure check that she'll likely be spending.:deal

You really should put the money in to your bank account.

Even for just mere 2% interest, you would get extra 100 000$ annually

yo, you act like 500,000 dollars is chump change. That would set me for life and I guarantee that the money Shannon made in that fight is more than anyone on this board will ever see in their lifetime. FACT!

Don’t know, but with wise spending one should be able to live with interest, only using the actual 5 000 000$ to big investments like houses.

Also it would be fairly easy to buy couple of apartments and rent them, to get steady income.

Point being that kind of money wouldn’t end in 60 years, if spend with any thought.

The point I was making was that, at a minimum, you would have an excellent income for te rest of your life.

You could obviously get more aggressive with it and try to increase it.

But assuming that you wanted only a safe solid income till you die,
$300, 000 USD annually is available to you for taking this beating.
