After embarrassing himself by pulling out against a completely unprepared Ustinov, will Tyson Fury for once in his life be a man and fight Ustinov?

    No way!
Just look at that guy... it's one thing that he's big, but also in reasonable shape and actually training. Why on earth would Fury fight someone like that?!?

Pretty certain the fight with Chisora is an ELIMINATOR still.

Making the winner, Fury in this case, the mandatory for Wladimir, and raising his WBC status to #3.

Not saying Ustinov doesnt "deserve" another big fight, but he should be focusing on making a fight with BRIGGS, calling him out at each Klitschko event, or Chambers at each Fury event. :think

It woulda been a career payday for Ustinov to take the Fury fight, while we'll never know how much of a cut Fury was being forced to take by F-Wank.

Ustinov needs to climb the ladder. Not become a backup plan for when big fights fall thru. And he needs to STAY IN SHAPE.:nono

Not any real chance of that happening if fury does what's expected and beats chisora he will not fight any meaningful fights as he will be in line for a title shot

Jesus Christ, his uncle died. I would like to see him fight Ustinov too, but show some respect.

Fury is garbage but Ustinov is even worse. Personally I don't think he'll beat Chisora so after the Chisora fight an Ustinov fight would be a nice, safe comeback opponent.

Not to be a shithouse but everyones gotta go someday. If you're old and have significant health problems it's only a matter of time. We've all been in a situation where an older member of the family has passed away. That's life. You have to reconcile yourself with that fact. And don't get the story confused he didn't die before the fight, he was hospitalized after an operation and only passed away a few months later.

Naturally its Fury's choice but answer me this do you think Fury would have pulled out had he still been facing Chisora as originally scheduled? ...NAAAH

Good to see the hypocritical fury haters out in force. What a pack of wankers.

Yes, but it is reasonable to cancel a fight when you get a call that your uncle my die at an given moment.

He has only himself to blame. He's a totally classless guy, his comments after Haye and Chisora pulled out were over the top so he shouldn't be surprised to get just as vitriolic response to him pulling out. If he showed any class and was a more respectful person very few people would be criticising him for pulling out, as he had legitimate reasons for doing so.

Furry wouldn't have got close to a KO win over Ustinov. Tua couldn't budge him and bangs way way harder than Furry. He may have won a decision..or he may have lost via KO/TKO or points against Ustinov.

I think Ustinov is a risk for now reward for him. If there was a pay cut as well...then its easy to see why he'd duck the fight. Low money and the risk of getting beat for it to? His high ranking wouldn've been at risk for less money. Furry wants to get his shot without taking any chances of getting his ass handed to him...he's had a few scares already against lesser/smaller opposition that he wasn't expecting trouble against. Quite simply a blagger who's a KO waiting to happen. I'd back Joshua to beat him even now simply because I can see good sound fundimentals in place already. Furry looks big and clumsy...and has shown already he's quite beatable.

I think it was a reasonable the only reason Fury is getting so much heat for doing so is because he's such a loud mouth who can't help but denigrate his opposition at every opportunity.

I will add that it perhaps says something about Fury's mentality. When Buster Douglas' mother died 23 days prior to the Tyson fight the adversity inspired him to achieve his dream and win the title, for Fury it made him quit.

Sorry for being disrespectful, but is Fury a professional boxer or a hobbyist looking for the path of least resistance?

    - Wlad Klitschko boxed vs. Wach two weeks after his trainer Emanuel Steward died
    - Arnold Schwarzenegger won the Mr. Olympia contest after he heard on the phone that his father died
    - Buster Douglas knocked out Tyson just days after his mother died

That's what men do. Win in the face of adversity.

Tyson Fury is mentally weak. He saw Ustinov at the weight-in, he realized this won't be the walk in the park they promised him this would be.. and hours later he called off the fight.

    That's just the facts :deal

It's just about who actually is the hypocrite here. Have you heard Fury's rantings on guys that pulled out against him for various reasons? And then he pulls out after saying he's being "stitched up" because his opponent turned out to be in shape.

Exactly. The Fury defenders need to watch the weight-in video:

Fury is being told Ustinov is unprepared and not in shape. However, Ustinov surprises everyone and shows up at his lowest weight in months and looks ready to fight 12 rounds. Fury then attempts his usual intimidation tactics. However, Ustinov looks completely unphazed. Fury puts his shades back on, walks off stage and four hours later he calls off the fight.

Fury deserves no sympathy at all.
