After the Chisora fight, will Tyson Fury man up and face Ustinov?

The least Fury could do to get his honor back would be to actually get in the ring with Ustinov and fight him in the ring. Probably won't ever happen.

I'd like to see him fight Ustinov at some point, but why would he now when he should be mandatory for wlad after chisora ? Makes no sense

I was hoping we'd see Fury/Ustinov. After that cracking press conference.

    Chambers reaction was priceless!

Fury wasn't prepared for Ustinov either.

Because he will have to wait a year before actually facing Wlad as a mandatory and because he is currently branded as a chicken$hit for pulling out last minute. He needs to fight Ustinov to show he is not a coward.

Why would he take a huge step down in Ustinov IF he beats Chisora.

If he loses to Chisora and wants to get straight back up in the organisation's, then Ustinov is a good return fight.

Now that's a realistic reason for this fight to take place.

Another would be if Fury were to carry the EU title after beating DelBoy, and defending it vs Ustinov, Dimitrenko etc while waiting on Wlad, but obviously, the $$$$ would have to make sense, especially when other, easier, and higher ranked Euro level contenders are out there.

    IDK....we'll have to see.

Fury will likely throw the EU title in the bin, unless he's got a payday lined up vs Haye, Joshua, or Price to defend it, and realistically, only the other Brits are gonna bring the kindof boot for Fury to risk his payday/prestige vs Wlad/WBC.:think:think:think

Would love to see Fury against a big man like Ustinov, in Fury's defense I don't see Chisora been as easy a fight as some think....I fancy Chisora to bring him to the later rounds but Fury should pull through.

Ustinov while inactive should have his agent looking for a fight against a top 10 guy, maybe a Charr or Browne?

It is also reasonable that if you do that then you don't sign for another fight (Chisora again) and resume training while he may still die at any moment.

If it was so heart-breaking that his uncle was hospitalized and could die at any moment, how and why did he manage to sign for a fight and start training? For all he knew, his uncle's situation might be unchanged up to the point of the first bell.

    Just doesn't wash.

Man up and face a lesser fighter than Chisora? Failing to understand this logic :huh

Honestly it would be a good warm-up for Klitschko. As would Dimitrenko. Risky fight though, which is why it probably won't happen.

I think you're showing a double standard here.

Fury is quite a character, isn't this what fight fans say they like. The K bros mostly showed lots of class and the haters said they're "boring" even though both, especially Vitali, had high KO ratios.

So Fury is a talker and "loud mouth". But this was exactly Ali's - and other boxers - style. What's the difference? And, no Ali didn't back it up every time. Why the double standard? :think

I lost a lot of respect for Fury when he chickened out from fighting Ustinov on fight day.

His uncle had been in hospital for more than a week, nothing had changed during the time after he agreed to fight Ustinov.

Except Fury was shook after the weigh-in and backed out.

Tyson saw a 20 stone in shape HW and **** his pants. Ustinov is all wrong for Tyson Fury and that's why he pulled out. All the hysterical projection from Fury in the face off just shows how much fear and trepidation was going through his mind.
