After the Fury loss I am certain Wlad will not be regarded as favourably in 20 years

Correct me if I'm wrong but haven't you picked every single wlad opponent in the last 10 years to batter and expose him?

...but what happens when someone beats him? People get old, people lose.

Can easily be one of the worst wins also. Fury only landed 7.1 punches a round. That is awful and embarrassing considering his opponent just stood there yet he was too scared and reluctant to engage Wlad.

If Fury loses the rematch he will be considered one of the worst Champs of all time. He would be in the same company with Leon Spinks, Rahman, Douglas, Carnera, etc.

Giving up your title with a whimper will ruin your legacy. Add that to getting sparked by journey men and not avenging all your defeats also won't help.

Let's see what happens, after all Lennox was knocked out by Rahman and is considered top ten ATG @ HW

LoL. Prime Peter couldn't get past Chambers. Where's Chambers ranked today?

You are nowhere near great if you have to run away from and illegally clinch , grapple and hold a fat , skill-less sloth like Peter. And to make matters worse , he fully deserved a DQ in both fights.

Compare to Lewis controlling the distance effortlessly against Tua - a much better version of Sam Peter.

When you look at it like this , its as plain as day how weak of a Champ Wlad was.

Very good post! You must be new here. Seasoned users don't write any reasonable posts anymore. They primarily refer to immature name calling and stuff.
I agree with most of the things you said except for the part with Wladimir having no heart. When ever he was knocked down in his career he always got up. He never kept lying down. The thing that made it look like he had no heart is (like you also mentioned) the complete lack of adaptability. He knows one style of boxing and one style only. He cannot switch to anything else. His former boxing style under Fritz Sdunek has just vanished. It is simply not part of his ****nal anymore. So I believe he did everything he could in the fight against Fury.

losing to one of the biggest bums ever to lace them up is definitely going to hurt wlads status. even if he ko1's him in the rematch(like any decent hw will) the damage is done.

Lewis avenged his loss though and proved that Rahman's KO was a fluke. Rahman was known to be a hard hitter and 1HKOs can happen at HW. That's the appeal of the weight class, isn't it? Wlad lost in a one-sided fashion in his own backyard. He would need a fluke KO to beat Fury and I think that's pretty telling of how overrated he is or was. Way too much of his success was based on him being physically superior to his opponents - that much is obvious.
