Id like to see him fight again. I don't want to see him getting brutally KO'd again but Id like to see him at least once, possibly a farewell fight in Manchester against a second class opponent, some one like Bradley who isn;t likely to knock him out, or possibly even Amir Khan or Junior Witter.

I think its fitting for such a great ambassador for the sport who has lit boxing up over the years with the excitement he brings to his fights.

I don't want to see him chasing the p4p number one spot again or even an elite athelete as I think any of the top fighters would probs beat him at the mo, i.e. Mosley. Cotto, Mayweather, Pac etc.

But one last farewell fight in Manchester would be nice, just so his career doesn't end on such a devastating knock out

I'd rather have him retire now. Like Mayweather Sr. said he was on top and fought the very best, there's no coming back from that, it's pointless.

Whatever happens i don't want Ricky to fight Khan.

Not saying that Khan can beat him, but just think it wouldn't be good for Khan's career in the UK.
    Thinking Henry Cooper-Joe Bugner. :-(

he might come back and get sparked again, with that egg chin a lot of guys can take him out.
and to say 'he's got nothing left to prove and only lost to the 2 best of his generation'.....lets be honest....he didn't just get beat he got smashed like nobody else did by those 2, and how about the small matter of proving he's the best 140lb fighter of his generation from the UK? Fight Witter.
All Hatton proved beyond doubt was that he was a good WBU titlist.

There's no way he fights Khan, no way they will risk Khan like that as he's the biggest name over there right next to Haye(who might drop off).

One fight isn't a bad choice, a farewell fight in England maybe with Torres or even Holt. Wouldn't recommend a fight with Bradley as I don't think he can win that. A fight with Torres or Holt could be very exciting and is definitely winnable.

Don't think he has an egg chin, if he did he would have hit the canvas as much as Herbie Hide did. Not everyone has Pac's speed and power.

he should have a farewell fight his fans deserve it they have been so supportive of him by traveling to Vegas and he should give them a hometown farewell fight......and besides Ricky seems like a genuine nice guy and i would like to see him go out with a W.

I think Carl Froch would debate that with you.

he wont go anywhere near witter or khan. as for bradley i think he too fresh and too strong. i wouldnt even feel confident of a hatton victory over katsidis. he should just hang them up or have a farewell against a nobody which i think tarnishs him more. unless it was against matthew hatton then i'd pay to see that! :D

again with the Khan-Hatton ****, a 50 yr old Ricky with an amputated arm would still KO him in one.

If he fights Witter then I would like to see him continue otherwise he can stay at home with his 6 pack of Guinness.

He's probably the most popular fighter in British boxing history based on the crowds that he attracts. He should retire, he has nothing left to prove.

but he doesnt want to be one of the best, he wants to be the best and he isnt. if he fights on it will be cos he got sparked in 2 rounds and is embarrassed not cos he thinks he a real chance. thats just gonna lead to further beatings.

    he should hang them up.

    The kid is still young!

if every fighter quit after their second loss there would be no fighters left. You people have no clue.
