In Marg's last fight he looked slow, weak and fragile. Think all the wars/beatings have cought up to him.

I would give Cintron a better shot at beating Margo this time, who knows.

I don't know. He's big, no longer young and maybe fighting at 154 will put some snap back in him. Or if they start allowing bricks, it might also add some snap back. I didn't get to see his comeback fight. I was busy shitting while that was on.

More likely, taking those bricks out of his gloves will make the bigger difference.

I agree. I don't care how good your chin is, if you've made a career out of eating power punches, eventually your chin will crack.

Punch resistance diminishing after getting clocked once...interesting subject that'll simply never interest the fan club worshippers of the "Roy Jones Glass Jaw" topics...

To answer your question, yes Margarito's punch resistance should diminish, although probably still better than most !

To add to that, look what happened to Mayorga's punch resistance throughout the years.

No doubt a beating like that takes something away from a fighter.

I don't think he's ever recovered from the beating Cotto gave him. You still have to start with his body to beat him or just outbox him.
