**** Ortiz, Mayweather didn't do nothing wrong. This content is protected Ortiz you tried to play dirty with a grandmaster and got your ass knocked spark out. Good on Floyd, he did nothing wrong, and if you cry about foul play, you're wrong. Much like I was. :deal
i still can't believe that happened. It looked like Mayweather had no problem accepting the the glove touch. However, he was ready to fight after that. Ortiz went in for an extra hug and backed away with his hands down at his sides. Big mistake. If you're going to hug like that, you gotta back away with your hands up. This guy just spaced out and forgot he was in a fight.
Floyd did nothing illegal (though there's more gray area than Leon's mom's ashy *****) - but I don't think anyone is saying his punches were illegal... it's the fact that Floyd cowardly went for the KO. The first time he popped Ortiz should have been sufficient payback, but Floyd being Floyd had to throw another one. And it was cowardly in the sense that he came the **** in, nodding his head, touching gloves for a split second, then threw 2 punches. He calculated that ****. Either walk up and clock him or don't FOOL HIM, touch gloves, then clock him twice.
It took you 4 days to realize something that I knew the moment I saw it. Protect yourself at all times -- they say it for a reason.
This^ I ROFL when he got put on his ass. But then I was shocked when he didn't get up. I was like "ok, he didn't wanna fight anymore and got his easy exit."
when cortez motioned them to fight, it's not like floyd immediately went at ortiz. it wasn't clear what his stance was at that point. of course it was legal from that point on to punch but floyd did not get at it straight away. he met with ortiz in the middle and let ortiz hug him and apologize some more. if you are ortiz, as stupid inexperienced kid, you'd think, hey i think floyd's cool and ima say sorry some more because i really felt sorry for it. his hands were all the way down and i think floyd realizes this. then boom, he went at ortiz. it was ortiz' fault yes. but he's stupid and what compounded to it is that the body language led him to feel at ease which is wrong in a fight.
