After this farce, can Haye ever call the Klit opponents bums again?

:patsch Planed fight in Finland, was year after he was stripped, it has nothing to do with it.

I understand that you probably didn’t follow boxing in 2008, but those times Chagaev was suppose to defend his title against Valuev. He pulled off two times and finally WBA decided to strip him and sanction No.1 contender Valuev vs. No.2 contender Ruiz for the vacant title.

Even before that in 2007, he booked unification match with Sultan Ibramigov but was injured and pulled off.

So it’s no surprise, that the guy who cannot defend his title against single mandatory in two years was stripped.

After he was stripped he was given position as Champion in recess which he could use to challenge champion ones he is healthy enough.

But then he lost his position because he challenged Wladimir who was champion of another organization.

Yeah Chagaev was champion of nothing, because he didnt defend his title against anyone.

Listen thrustnut, every title holder in the division is no more than a "paper belt" holder.

How did Wlad get the IBF?

By beating Byrd. How did Byrd get it? After it was stripped from Lennox Lewis.

The WBC? meh, probably the most legit, but fighting Corrie "the Golfer" Sanders for it was laughable.

WBO? Remind me again who had to drop that to fight Vitaly? Oh right, the dude that totally sparkoed big bad Wlad.

Ruslan was stripped for inactivity. That happens when you don't fight for 18 months. You don't keep the belt for ever and ever.

You want to go aaaaaaaaaaaaall the way back to how Chagaev got the WBA? Well trace that back to when Lewis was stripped of the WBA for trying to delay his fight with Ruiz for a couple of months.

So what, I don't give a ****. Give the WBA to Wlad if you like. It's still a paper belt unless you beat Lennox Lewis for it.

You apply a rule to one fighter being a "paper champ", you've got to apply it to all of them.

It dosent mater what you call it, stripped from the belt or named champion in recess while WBA title is fought elsewhere. Either way he wasn’t the reigning and defending WBA champion any longer, title was decided in a fight with Valuev and Ruiz.

Give it up man, they don't want to hear it.

If you follow their logic, all the current belt holders are paper champs, with the possible exception of Vitali, as Lewis retired.

All of the other belts lineage after Lewis is bogus. The WBA and IBF.

The WBO is bogus after Sanders dropped it to fight Vitaly, as the rules at the time didn't allow the WBO holder to fight for another belt. That's why it wasn't considered on par with the other belts until they eventually changed that rule.

    Even now it's a bit **** IMO.

No. It's even more damning because the second worse title fight I have seen in a long time is Haye vs. Valuev. Exciting Mr. David Haye, lulling everyone to sleep. Thank you David, now please retire and let us have the "boring" Klitschko's.

Why then it was called Eliminator fight(Valuev-Ruiz)? He made his comeback in Drammond fight(yeah **** I know) and was renewed as champion on condition that he fights mandatory(valuev) next. Which he tried but Valuev team found loophole that allowed him not to fight Chagaev and still get title. Yet it wasn't stripped from chagaev until after fight with Wladimir.

He was going at Lewis like a madman for the entirety of the fight throwing power punches. He has asthma and gassed. Lewis is a pretty hard puncher in any event and was hitting Briggs a lot. Accumulation, exhaustion stoppage.

I bet my soul that Chisora throws more than one punch, therefore he is a far better challenger than Audley.:yep
