After getting spanked last night Gervonta already said he doesn't want a rematch so who do you want to see Gervonta s father face next? And should he stay at 135 or go back to 130?

Seriously though, Wahid took a knee, turned his back to the match and walked away. That's usually an automatic TKO victory. It happened with Angulo, when he turned his back on Lara. But for some strange reason, Errol got a pass when he did it against Cherry Garcia and Ugas, and now Stank gets a pass.

I would like Davis vs Stevenson, Gervonta now has to prove something and 'The best fight the best'

The referee made a big mistake yesterday

Notice the common denominator with those example is PBC.... There fighters are always protected from other fighters and even rules of the sport. It's sickening.

Which is sad because I've met Steve Willis a couple times and respect him as a veteran ref, but last night raises a lot of questions for fans like myself. There are multiple peers of Steve who have stated that there should have been an 8 count to say the least. A couple pointed out it should have been a DQ because he went back to his corner to get his face cleaned. There are no timeouts in this sport by the competitors and/or their corners. Willis knows this. HE EVEN STARTED THE 8 COUNT AT FIRST......

My guess is that there will be a rematch.

Oh hell no. Gervonta already said there won't be one. He says he wants Jake Paul instead probably at a 142 pound catch weight with a rehydration clause . It's too risky to fight Roach again just like a Isaac Cruz rematch was too risky too.

He’d got some good fights ahead of him at 130 or 135 after that performance. Personally I wouldn’t mind seeing Roach take on Foster or Navarrete at 130. Shakur Stevenson or Keyshawn Davis at 135 would be interesting as well.

I agree with everything you wrote. Willis is a good referee but yesterday he really made a mistake. That was a clear knockdown, Davis knelt down. If you don't give the knockdown you have to give at least 1 point penalty, otherwise it creates a precedent, a boxer can't kneel down, turn his back on his opponent and go to the corner to have his face dried, incredible.

If Tank won't fight Stevenson maybe Roach will. Whatever Roach's next move, he has options now, the top guys may see him now as a good viable next opponent.

It wasn't a mistake. He didn't count him on purpose. I lost my respect for that ref.

I don’t believe Davis should of lost by TKo in that situation, but clearly if you take a knee for whatever reason, to get a pause in the action, the Ref Must rule that a knockdown. Roach got Robbed big time. bring on Loma vs Roach!

Well, not good examples. Angulo gave up, Spence lost his mouth piece, stopped to look for it but was still in the fight against Garcia and was legit hurt against Ugas but didn’t take a knee and and continued to fight. The ref acted correctly in those fight but the ref should at least have given Tank a stern warning if he wasn’t going to give a 8 count.

If Tank doesn't rematch that's an awful look. Straight duck. I think he'll rematch. The Cruz fight wasn't quite like this.
