After tonight, how many ex-Wilder haters now have the Bronze Boomerang as one of their favourites?

How will Furys stock go down...... Both men were rusty from 20 months out the ring both have hearts of lions both put it all on the line both got knocked down and got up then Fury iced him with a 1 punch brutal KO. Both guys should get huge credit and Fury has proved he is the best in the division even with a **** camp. Fury will say he had a good camp as he dosn't make excuses. His newborn was on life support a few weeks ago that alone means camp was ****.
The thing that helped Fury was he wasn't spending 6 weeks losing weight he was already on weight and just had to get conditioned by sparring i bet Furys camp was 5 weeks at most where as Wilder has trained like a Trojan for 20 months.
Maximum credit and respect to both from me the only sour is Wilder still wont give Fury credit but thats on him for being a POS.

Wilder did tarnish it a bit with the refusal to shake the hand of the better man. I'm saying Fury's stock will go down based on some of the comments on the RBR. He's my favourite heavyweight and I think he beats pretty much anyone.

    Nope

    Still an idiot

He showed heart but he is a former world champ, am i to be hugely impressed?

Regardless I'll always watch his fights as they are worthwhile most of the time

Before: underwhelmed by his pathetic resume and lack of ability to step up.
    After: same.

Before: disgusted with his lack of class, desire to kill in the ring, inability to admit the better man won.
    After: same.

Yes, he refused to quit when any decent trainer would've thrown the towel in again... Other than that, no gain in respect really - he's still an extremely limited slugger with a big mouth and no balls.

I have always enjoyed watching Wilder fight, tough sob no doubt.

Great right hand that can change a fight in a split second.

    Great heart in the ring!!

    That was NEVER the problem.

The problem is he is a total ****ing gross idiot outside the ring that its hard to root for him to win against anyone.

How he turned on Breland and then came up with those excuses after the 2nd loss was disgusting act of a human being.

    BOMB SQUAD!!!!!!

I really saw him with distaste and still do, but the man has a heart as big as it gets.

Haters will still hate regardless. If he won, they'd still hate. You can't win them all.

He fought a surprisingly good fight but my opinion of Wilder hasn’t changed. He’s a punk who has never learned how to act like a champion. Showed his true colors after the fight, refusing to act like a professional, refused to shake hands like a sore loser punk. I can’t wait for all of the conspiracy theories and excuses from the usual suspects. **** Wilder, his loser fans and his excuse makers. Seeing him get KTFO was a thing of beauty. Fury did a service to the fans and to the sport of boxing.

No doubt about him being a warrior but still doesn’t take away that he is a horrible person. My opinion of him as a boxer also still doesn’t change. Exciting one punch power fighter with limited ability.

I always made fun of him here but... His story seems likeable, he seems to be a good family man, a good father and a good husband. He could have been a universally loved fighter if he fought a tad of better competition, if he was a bit more down to earth when they interviewee him and if he didn't look for stupid excuses after Fury losses. But last night, he showed that he has the heart of champion. Hats off to him. In boxing history there have been tons of fighters who was beloved because of their heart and will without having good boxing skills... Wilder seems to have both heart and will and he has a thunderous right hand. If he was to talk a bit less, he could have been universally loved for these merits.

That's my feeling too. He an absolute reprobate outside the ring, his record is riddled with stiffs, and yes, his chin is still as shaky as ever - but he makes up with it with unbelievable heart. And that deserves to be noted.
