After tonight, i'm convinced Lemieux and Jermall Charlo would give Canelo hell.

    Lemieux, no way, after the GGG fight I think Canelo schools him. Lemieux's attack would be too predictable, Canelo wouldn't even have to rely on carefully setting counter traps. He'd outjab him and time and outspeed him, heck against Lemieux he'd even have a foot speed advantage. If you aren't world class Lemieux's probably knocking you dead, but if you're elite skilled boxer you're going to dominate Lemieux. The guy's getting ridiculously overrated lately.

    Charlo's a different story. With his length and speed and power he might be the guy to beat Canelo. Hasn't proven he has Canelo's defence and smarts yet though. In fact at times he seems impatient and sloppy. Nor has he proven he can handle a puncher. If he beats a few more top guys including Derevyanchenko while building a bigger following he and Canelo in 2019 could be a superfight between prime studs.

    To be fair, canelo already paid his due at 154 facing the likes of Lara, Trout, cotto, Kirkland and Smith.
    He is a middleweight now, and those fighters mentioned are the future of 160 contender. Their path might cross in the future. But canelo is the money man, it's up to them to sort out among themselves to get a chance of the lottery.

    I think Charlo is the dark horse of the division and possibly
    beats everyone (he's not even in his prime yet);
    I think Danny does well against Canelo as well.

    Canelo makes David look goofy.

    Don't put Kirkland and Smith with those other names to inflate his resume. Those fights are bogus.

    Well some have thought this for time,Canelo and GGG was fixed imo with GGG going easy on Canelo who just isn't a middleweight despite his bulk.

    Charlo already got schooled and exposed by an ageing Trout, Canelo finishes the job with a KO cheery on top, Lemieux has a puncher's chance against anyone, and his chin is good enough to last as long as Beefy did, you never know. Yeah GGG couldn't stop Canelo, but he hurt him, and if using their performances against Stevens and Rosado as a measuring stick, David is clearly the harder hitter.

    Jacobs would do a number on Canelo for multiples reasons. But even as a Lemieux fan, I think that Canelo beats him but Lemieux could close his lights at any moment with one single punch.

    I don't know, Golovkin can seriously punch and Canelo took quite a few of those, he has a very solid chin.

    So what do Charlo and Lemieux do that Canelo can't handle?

    These David Lemiex fans are pathetic. The guy has one punch. He ducks down and then puts his all into a left hook. He has no jab. Has no setup. Hook fighter. He's small. Footwork is trash. Poor handspeed. No defense. He's a poor mans Danny Garcia at best.

    Such a limited fighter, it's not even funny. This was the man who beat him and realize he makes Pavlik look like Bhop in this fight. Understand Rubio was Pavliks comeback fight after getting embarrassed by Bernard. If you guys take the time to watch the full fight, you'll see Kelly actually use slickness such as shoulder roll and philly shell. That's how bad Rubio is.

    The only reason you guys propel Lemiex is to only give G some kind of misplaced-disillusioned credence.

    Canelo makes Lemiex look like drained Chavez Jr but he closes the show with a sensational KO.

    Charlo has the better chance but Jermal might not be ready for the big stage.
