After Calzaghe dominated RJJ, Hopkins showed no interest in fighting RJJ but after stopping Lacy tonight B-Hop could reconsider.

Do you think it would be a good fight and who do you think would win?

I'd say why not they're both really old in boxing terms and both past their primes....but i think they'd put on a good show.

i'd like to see them fight the fights that are lined up (b-hop v adamek/dawson, jones v green) and then for the two to have simultaneous retirement fight versus each other

I'd pay to watch a rematch.

It would be a big event. But it wont be a good fight. I rather see BHOP fight the winner of Dawson-Johnson.

    Hopkins destroys Roy.

Roy shutout Lacy, Hopkins shutout Kelly Pavlik.

    Whole different story.

    Same.

It's a good fight anyway, both guys are past it and it looks like RJJ can deliver some to give Hopkins a decent fight even in losing.

Hopkins must want this more, a good chance to make good money and avenge a loss.

I happen to agree with you, but it is a fight that would be interesting to see regardless. Jones is not as far gone as perhaps was thought. Sure, Lacy is limited, but he's a good hitter, and Jones totally outclassed him.

I still have Hopkins winning this though. Hes too crafty for Roy at this stage.

Calzaghe and Taylor outclassed him too. He's only been fading more and more since the Joe beating. Let's be honest.

Goodluck to Joe, but Hopkins is not in the same boat as Roy. Bernard is still clearly one of the best fighters in the world today. Roy is just having a lot of success with second rate fighters. Hopkins does something similar to what Calzaghe did. In my view.

Hopkins is past it? He's coming off a shutout, demolition job over thought to be next Middleweight king, Kelly Pavlik. Hopkins ain't 26 years old but damn, he's still smoking.
