After trashing Valuev thoroughly, can we now start praising his chin?

I agree with the first part, but a human chin doesn't get much stronger than that I think.

Wonder if that chin could've withstood a bomb from Lewis?

When has he even been wobbled? Granted, he's never faced the biggest punchers out there, but I remember Barrett landed some bombs straight on the chin and they didn't seem to do anything but make him angry.

I agree with most of the posts. The guy is huge, but, if he had the talent to match his chin, he would be unbelieveable.

His chin hasn't been tested by a big puncher ...

He reminds me of Tye Fields ...

even if a klitschko were to starch him I still think he has a solid chin...people may point out the nobles fight or barrett fight where they wobbled him for like a second..,.after that second he came on stronger

**** fighter but one with a pretty solid chin

    What?
He was at least hurt by Barrett in the first round.

I asked earlier in the week who is the best puncher Valuev has faced? I am not so sure his Chin is as great as people say it is. I thought he was buzzed by Barrett who is not a huge puncher, Chagaev who is a decent puncher and Ruiz almost knocked him down and we all know Ruiz can't punch for crap.

I want to see how his Chin holds up to Wlad, Vitali, ar another big Heavyweight who can crack.

    :good

No biggie... Holy was punching upward to a great extent.... His leverage was lost.... Plus, Holy was NEVER a wicked puncher at heavyweight anyway..... :bbb

Valuev has always shown a great chin. For the person who said that Valuev reminds them of Tye Fields... they probably need to watch Valuev vs Barrett, and then Fields vs Barrett.

Ok so he can take a punch thats great. The man sucks as a boxer, he might be able to hit as hard as Antonio Margarito or maybe even Paul Williams on a good day. He has no hand speed at all, and has the agility and coordination of a drunk elephant.
