After trashing Valuev thoroughly, can we now start praising his chin?

Ruiz knocked him down in the second round of the rematch.

It would of taken a few, definently more right hand bombs than anyone else Lewis fought but Lennox against giants was great and that right hand would drop him after a couple times.

Bergeron came extremely close to knocking him down in the second round of their fight(i think it was the second). His knees went weak after a huge shot to the head and he nearly went down.

But the thing against Valuev is : Allmost all his opponents look good against him, but they never win...

Too bad his skills aren't as good as his chin

I would say no way. Valuev does not stand a chance with a guy like Lewis and Lennox' right hand. The only reason he is champ now is because we are in the age of the Klitchkos and big heavyweights. I think they are going to have to create a superheavyweight division so the variables which cause someone to win are skill and not size.

The thing is being as tall as Valuev is is actually a disadvantage if you use the right gameplan and have skills. Watch Chagaev who is an average sized HW and nothing extraordinary outbox him and outmaneuver him. It's just theres so few quality HWs today.

You are of ocurse right. He has a VERY good chin. Which is why I would like it thoroughly tested by Wlad or Vitaly. Valuev-Peter would also be good, because Valuev is perhaps not too fast for Peter - so perhaps Peter can get off.

    Chagaev would beat him again.
Wlad and Vitali would destroy him.
    Haye would beat him.
    Povetkin would beat him.

There's enough guys out there to beat him, he just hasn't fought enough of them yet.

(I honestly think Skelton would beat him)

He's just a bigger version of Fields. Honestly, I think I can beat Valuev.

All true. But in all honesty there should be more than 4-5 people that should be able to beat him.
