Haye has no chance against Vitali, even this older version of Vitali. But he'll still do a better than job than Adamek.

ESB needs to just combine all of PolishPummler's Haye threads into one. How many years has he been spamming the board with the same crap every day? He is the biggest fanboy on the whole site.

Or Haye could actually fight his way to title contention........ Just a thought.

Plus I don't see how anyone can honestly say Vitali is ducking Haye.

If you could just do nothing and 'wait for' a title shot against a Klitschko I would have fought one of them years ago. I'd be loaded!

Haye has allready faught his way into contention ,have you forgot he is ranked top 10,is a two weight world champ beating the likes of ruiz, barrett, bonin, harrison, chisora in spectacular fashion? not to mention going 12 rounds with atg undisputed champ wladimir?

wtf has charr, mormeck ,(haye leftover) and old man thompson done to get a shot ??

Well Vitali is clearly ageing. If he didn't retire until he lost, at some point he would reach a point, presumably, where Haye would be able to beat him.

Chances of survival drop to 0 for everyone on a long enough timeline. Like anything else, it's a calculated risk. It's a fight i'd like to see, anyway.

    3.Povetkin
    4.Adamek
    5.Haye

He understandably won't fight his brother, Povetkin is lining up Wlad and he's beaten Adamek so Haye is the obvious choice if he wants to fight the best, no?

He won't though, he's happy fighting shot guys like Shannon Briggs or euro level opponents like Chisora, Charr and Soznowski.

Charr did NOT deserve a title shot. There is something up K2's sleeve there. Probably OPTIONS on him with the intent to signing him and promoting him long term.
Theyre in a situation where they need a suitable NABO challenger for Mitchell when Banks(K2 fighter) loses that title. Charr MAY be that guy.

As for Mormeck......he beat a solid top 30 Oquendo(close fight, but he got a "fair" nod, although most of the rds were close and could have gone the other way). He also did quite well in beating a top 20, Timur Ibragimov. Add to his HW resume, a durable high end club fighter C+ guy, Maddalone and Mormecks short HW resume becomes somewhat decent. A horrible mismatch in all fairness, but a decent stay busy fight nonetheless.

Thomspon fought injured in his first Wlad fight. And 2 yrs later, when he beat Harris in the IBF semifinal, he looked great KOing the solid top 30. He was then pitted against a consensus top 10 for the final eliminator. Chambers injuries forced a delay, and a second injury forced the cancellation. My opinion was they needed to bring in an alternate. Hell, Derrick Rossy, Chmabers opponent in the semi woulda worked. But Walker, Meehan, or any other rated IBF fighter woulda been fine. The IBF chose to forgo the eliminator and place the mandatory label on Thompson. He did deserve the shot, but he should have earned it with another win over another rated fighter.

Haye simply refuses to fight for less than millions of bucks. He definitely is a top 5 HW. But if he refuses to fight, he'll likely be passed up for title shots.

I expect the Vitali Haye fight to happen. If Vitali chooses to retire, Arreola and Mitchell/Banks will fight for the vacant title. Haye WILL be fighting the winner of that fight. I guarantee it.

Edit.......Tyson Fury MIGHT get the first crack at the new WBC titlist, but Haye will defo be second if not first.
