Don't worry. They will have a new paper champion, who has beaten nothing but waiters and his own cousins, to worship within days of Ward cleaning out the division.

Fair enough.Bute wanted to fight a great loser, Kessler. In fact the only big name Ward beated was him.If he wins the final won`t be big difference cause Kessler won with Froch. This way, a victory af Bute with Kessler would have been enough for a shot at the final winner.
In case of a victory of Froch, yes I have nothing against a Bute Ward first.

The problem of you who think Bute doesn`t deservea shot is you forgot boxing a one fight sport mostly. This tournament is the exception from the rule. You can`t make something similar to other sport.

I`ll give you examples:Did Brinkley or Mendy deserve to fight Bute ? According to the rules, yes.

In fact Ward should fight someone after if he remains in the division and almost sure should fight weaker fighters cause you don`t have a unification or a big fight every day.

Someone who argued like you on this said Kessler shoul deserve. All right, and after him?

it provided some great fights we probably would have never seen thanks to boxing politics id like to see the idea continued in various other weight classes

I think it has proven it is a good idea to be honest.

A perfect storm of bad conditions and unfortunate circumstances swept the comp and we STILL have had a **** ton of fights between top guys in the division, i don't see what the problem is. The obvious oversight was the absence of Bute, people figured out that it was an issue before the tourny even started and they were right, really though it just means there is going to be a true final for the best in the division after the tourny is complete.

Everything that could have gone wrong did, and we have still benefited from a high frequency of top guys in the division fighting each other, what more could you ask for?

Yeah I should have said team bute. Most boxers will fight anyone their promoter puts in front of them and had his promoters got him in the s6 I don't think he'd have backed out.

But as a whole team I think they've got a sweet deal out of it.

It showed us that Ward is probably the best of the division.
Yes he got all his fights at home, but I don't agree that he got away with anything as horrible as the europeans want to claim. He simply showed he was very difficult to handle and would have won anywhere IMO

It showed us Andre Dirrell is indeed a huge ***** and should be relegated into the nursery along with Kermit Cintron

It showed us that guys above 30 years old can improve, as Froch is twice the boxer today than he was against Taylor, and is real live dog against Ward, no matter where they fight.

It showed us that Abraham is too small for SMW. His only win was against another guy who was too small for SMW, but he certainly was not a hype job.

I saidthe tourney didn`t clearified big things yet, not that it`s not good. The people who tink that didn`t get the picture. I implied the format of tourney was a little biased, which enough people believe. Thus I said finally many gights "it`s good for boxing".

Am I clear for you now?

what the tourney clarified is that we don't have a dominant SMW fighter and these guys might be going hammer and tongs for the next 5 years until someone emerges. it did give us the arrival of andre ward though.

The super six was a massive letdown in many ways. - but consider this:

Where would we be right now if they hadn't had it?
