Is there still a chance of redemption after Bergeron defeats him?

Or has Valuev lost the will to fight, and decided to challenge Bergeron as a way to step out of boxing gracefully?

If Valuev loses tomorrow, he should call it a career

Stepping into the ring with Bergeron will be the highlight of Valuev's career. He should call it quits because there is no greater honor to be earned in boxing.

I guess this is a joke thread, but after Valuev wins I would like to see him fight Mccall or Briggs for a step up in competition.

Nobody will see it. Bergeron's so fast, he's a blur.

Bergeron is known for his unusual training methods, but he looks like he's REALLY prepared well for this one. A few training photos:

I always thought they called him that because of his penchant for ripping down operahouse chandeliers.

You learn something new every day, I guess.

Valuev has a lot of choices. Most likely he will go to Hollywood as an actor. He already acted in a german movie.

What makes you think he'll lose? Valuev is bigger and has beaten better opponents. If he wins I would like to see him fight Wlad or one of the other champs. If he does lose retirement could be an option. Both guys are 34 so a loss wouldn't be great for either at this time in their careers.

I'd be shocked if Valuev loses. If he loses, he'll probably need a long layoff because he tore his ACL or something.
