Vlad won the gold medal in the Olympics in the superheavyweight division, then came back and fought the IBF, WBA, and WBO champions, he beat them all. I watched Vlad beat Thompson by knockout two times and Vlad did not clinch much at all, the same when Vlad fought 6 foot 8 inch, 250 lbs. Wach. Some do not watch all of Vlad's fights. Vlad has fought mandatories many times, champions, undefeated, he easily won every round against David Haye, etc. Pulev wants to have one more fight before he fights Vlad, that is not Vlad's decision. Boytsov did have a fight set, so I think Vlad should fight Wilder next, since Wilder is supposed to be the best heavyweight of all time, LOL! At least that's the impression I get from all of Wilder's supporters, esp. Wilder's promoter.....................so Vlad should go ahead and knock Wilder out now. However, after Vitali fights Stiverne, Vitali should go ahead and knock Wilder out since Wilder is, by some miracle, ranked #3 by WBC..............incredible.

If you want to make the connection with Wlad, it's comparable to Wlad fighting a chinny former CW champ who lost his title by KO last year and got back on the horse edging a fringe top 30 HW at 203. On PPV!

I'm as much defending Floyd as I'm defending Wlad. Both don't need defending because they're clearly on top of the food chain in their respective divisions. If you don't see that, you don't have a clue what's going on.
If you constantly keep picking Wladimir's next opponent as the one to beat him, while they're clearly one or two classes behind, you're gonna look stupid.
The only real defending Wlad gets is because of his jab/grab style he uses nowadays.
And his last fight went well over the edge with that and is indefensible.

But take my advice and stop picking Wlad opponents to beat him, at least until a real threat comes along. Cause the current crop needs a miracle to beat him.

No , I never said Khan was a serious opponent for MW but I saw the amount of bashing you gave the fight while never complaining about the bums Wlad choses to fight repeatedly, much worse than MW fighting Khan.
The only guy I ever picked to beat Wlad was Povetkin and any objective observer saw Wlad wasn't good enough to beat him legitimately. Go ahead and show me another time i predicted Wladto lose?

 

If you didn't think Khan should fight Mayflower then why do you care I hate the thought of that fight? Khan getting a huge undeserved payday while other much more deserving guys like Garcia are left in the cold.
I complained about Wlad fighting undeserving Pianeta and Mormeck. I even complained about the proposed Chisora fight in 2011 wich I was happy about that it didn't come off.

Garcia and his pop don't even want the fight now. I never once heard them calling out Floyd. He hasn't even left 140 yet. If he beat Garcia now he's be bashed for fighting a guy two divisions lower.
Khan has been running his mouth about Floyd for years. Its a fun fight for MW, one thats good for his career and appeals to the casual market.
