Corrie Sanders was never a pro PGA golfer. He did play golf as an amateur though. Ask Bobby Czyz about Sanders. Lewis said he ducked Sanders for years. When Vlad fought Sanders, Sanders had been training for months, he was going to fight Valouev in South Africa. Vlad did not spar a southpaw, came into the ring cold. Vlad did not make any excuses for that loss. Vlad also tried to get a rematch with Corrie, but Corrie refused to fight a rematch. Vlad would have won the rematch. Vitali stopped Sanders later on.............

As far as Brewster, there was an outside influence................. In the Puritty fight Vlad was very young, had been somewhat sick and only weighed 236. Vlad was not knocked out, he got up, it was a TKO. I can post a letter to the attorney Gen., etc., about the Brewster fight. Sen. McCain, etc. the Judd letter. Vlad just wanted to know what happened as Vlad has never had diabetes, two sets of blood/urine tests were missing, well, read the Judd letter..........whatever, Vlad decided to move on, he finally got the rematch with Brewster, no contest as I knew it would be. Many drugs cause a person's blood sugar to go up............Vlad has proven himself many times over..............

I was somewhat disappointed in the fight with Povetkin as Vlad could have stopped him, esp. when Vlad had so much success on the inside, one body punch would have ended that fight, whatever, Vlad did win it. Vlad knocked Thompson out two times, not much clinching in that fight, nor with Austin, Jefferson, Wach, ad infinitum.....................However, it's easy to watch a fight and say what the boxer should have done, you have to be in the ring to know what it's like. So, I give Vlad the benefit of the doubt, Vlad would have won without any clinching, as Vlad can box extremely well. I really miss Vlad's shotgun jab, it can be awesome.......................

 

You're talking with your arse, dude! Pulev went through three mandated fights to win the mandatory spot! There was nothing dubious about him beating Dimitrenko, Ustinov and Thompson. I understand you hate the guy - that's you choice, but give the man credit for what he did!

I certainly prefer challengers who clearly earn their title shot, through eliminator fights, that we can all see, thence my respect for Pulev!

 

Pulev earned his ranking, unlike Wilder who is ranked #3 WBC without ever fighting anyone nearly ranked.

 

Perhaps you Klitschko fans should follow Wlad's example? Every fighter (or fans of that fighter) makes excuses for a loss sure, but the Klitschko fans are among the very worst for it.
Maybe even THE worst.

And also for making claims that you guys just cannot back up at all. Like saying Wlad would have beaten Sanders in the rematch. It's stated like it is a fact.

Wlad had every advantage going into that fight. Sanders was brought in as an 'opponent', nothing more.
Wlad lost. Deal with it, stop making ******ed claims that you cannot begin to back up, and move on with your lives.

 

More than fair! I agree with your assessment of Wlad-Pulev. Wlad's the more accomplished fighter in practically every respect and I have him as a clear favourite. I still expect Pulev to offer a bigger challenge than some of the last contenders.

Regarding Wlad - he is still head and shoulders above the rest and I fail to see for the moment any proven contender who has a serious chance. Which is also a reason I was so disgusted with Wlad's tactics against Povetkin. He could have out-boxed and outfought Sasha eaily!
