After Ward's performance on Kessler, who do you favor: Kessler vs. Froch

Froch is horrible, I cant believe he beat Taylor or Dirrell....he is sooooo lucky. He will lose via awesome Kessler KO

 

Don`t know why Dirrells getting so much hype,he beat Froch alright but he`s a chicken shite runner and a suspect brittle chin.I liked his skills certainly but he`ll do the same chicken run against Abraham.Kessler should beat Froch but this loss against Ward might effect him.I think Kesslers on the slide now anyway imo.

this sounds like a line from the movie "Rudy"...but if i could put Froch's heart and (seeming) willingness to come forward against anyone into another fighter...wow...but...

Froch is so flawed. Kessler should clean him up. Froch is tailor made for a guy w/ a 1-2. Nothing about tonight changes the fact that Froch's hands are below his waist and that he rocks his left twice very slowly before flicking out his jab in an alomst "please time me me and counter right over it" kind of way. Abraham will put him to sleep (besides the point) but Kessler can win this fight.

This fight has no bearing on how Kessler would do against Froch. Froch is crude, one dimensional and there for Kessler to hit. I still pick Kessler to give Froch a decent beating.

 

A tale of two stiffs

 

Really it depends on if Froch can execute what ward and calzaghe has taught him and their team. Froch is still horrible defensively, but he is a hard man and a rough fighter. That along might be enough to get him a TKO type win. really, Froch isnt outboxing anyone in the super six.

 

Froch would beat Ward hands down... Wards extendable arm and headbutt tactics would be caugt by froch punching from all angles ... Direll didnt want to get into a war with froch hence he was running the ring for 8 of the 12 rounds and knew wat power froch punches with ... Ward would get caught an doesnt have the power to trouble frochs chin ....

Froch may not be the most stylist of fighters but what he does he does brilliantly well... big chin , heart of a lion , punches with power from all angles .... yeah his defence isnt exactly text book but he has a chin which can withstand a punch , hes not lightning quick but he hunts fighters down over 12 rounds and is relenting !

You yanks criticise Froch but hes beaten Pascal the current light heavy champ in a brilliant fight , he came over to the states and ko'd an ATG in Jermain Taylor a guy whose CV says it all and then won a close fight against a very awkward and talented boxer in Dirrell..... just cos he fights ugly doesnt make him a poor fighter

Watching this tourney makes you think what a prime Jones, Toney,...early to mid 90s British fighters would have done.
