After watching Gamboa vs Crawford, I see why Golovkin losses to Ward.

Ward fought against 168- 175 boxers in amateurs. Being bigger and skilled guy he can outbox Golovkin from distance.

Ward is not Martinez who fought on instincts he has boxing skills and knows how to defend himself.. First ggg is not tall even for middle's and would need to go inside as crazy (like against Bute), where Ward can counterpunch him everytime. So, too many benefits for Ward who is not punching bag

No, this match-up is really 50-50, GGG is one of the hardest punchers in the game, but Ward has great defense and timing to avoid his punches and counter him.

Nah, outside is where Ward would not want to be. You have it backwards. GGG is shorter than Ward, but he has 24" arms and can punch accurately while moving.

Ward would most likely be trying to fall in, and circle/potshot moving left while keeping his left high and aggressive. Smother GGG overhand right and move away from the left hook to body. Grab a lot and keep his left hand outside the clinch so he could use his left hook a lot.

If Ward tried to stay at range and outbox GGG he would get knocked out. Wards strength isnt being better than his opponent at their strength, its being able to fight in a way that plays to their weakness.

So you really believe that Golovkin has a chance? If he has, why he is avoiding him then. Put this show to us

If you think GGG is avoiding Ward, you havent been paying attention. Ward could have fought GGG last Nov instead of Stevens... E-Rod was toughest opponent he would take. E-Rod turned down 500k to face Golovkin, leaving GGG to find Rosado on relatively short notice.

If you think GGG is avoiding Ward, you are just parroting something you heard elsewhere and know nothing about the situation.

You GGG guys are terrible with this. Gamboa fought at FW/SFW before fighting Crawford at LW if the only fight Golovkin can get is Ward he should go for glory and fly or fall like many before him.
Saying that though if he can get some of the other title holders at MW go for it if not a win over Ward is better than any name at MW.

GGG trying to fight ward on the inside?

F@cking forget it, no one beats ward on the inside

Skills wise there is no one on that level at the moment

The only hope against ward is landing a big big punch clean and hoping he has a glass jaw

ggg would have a puncherschance and he might not even have that, no-one knows if ggg would carry his punching power up to 168, other than that ward beats him in every category, height, reach, footwork, defense, speed, ring i.q, overall skill level etc etc

Would be good if Ward actually fought someone....His lack of activity is a real concern...not sure He wants Golovkin at least GGG is keeping busy.!!!!

When ever Ward finally does fight again, you know he's gonna take a tune up before stepping in with a real opponent.
