I hadnt got a chance to see that fight before, so I only watched it recently. I felt Collazo possibly even took that fight and thats despite the knockdown, it certainly was a very close fight. One thing that bothers me is that Collazo took very hard body and rib shots from Hatton in the early rounds and he did not slow down, was even fresher than Hatton. Mayweather has a much stronger body and will be able to take Hattons body punches. Another thing is Collazo is not a big puncher but he was able to bust Hatton up pretty bad, his speed was bothering Hatton and offseting his game plan, so imagine what Mayweathers speed will do to him. I dont want to say that Mayweather will beat Hatton as bad as Gatti but I think that he will beat him soundly over 12 rounds with Hatton only being succesful in spurts. I will be pulling for Hatton though.

Btw how did you score the Hatton-Collazo fight?

I agree - I had Collazo winning the fight.

His speed seemed to be the biggest problem for Hatton - Mayweather is faster - and has settled into his Welterweight body. This should be a nightmare for Hatton.

    The Collazo fight mean f-all.

He came in too heavy for that fight, it was a big mistake which he nearly paid for. He'll be at his normal fighting weight against PBF regardless of it being at Welter weight.

Collazo and Mayweather are completely different fighters. For one, Collazo is a natural 154 lb. who dries himself to make 147. I dont think he will fight at 147 ever again. Two, hes a southpaw. Three, his style of boxing is completely different that that of Mayweather's. He is more of a volume puncher. While, Mayweather sits in the pocket and hits you with simple 1 and 2s. I havent seen Mayweather throw those great combinations in years.

I had it a draw. It could have gone either way. Collazo somewhat exposed Hatton in that fight the fact that he can be outboxed and he can't handle movement. PBF is better than Collazo in every department he will outclass Hatton.

This fight is not a good predictor for the bout in December, Hatton and his team were desperate to raise his profile in the USA and took the fight at short notice. Hatton piked on weight quickly and this was in essence ballast which did him no favours. He still won the fight but he had to gring it out. This is not the casse here, he has had pleanty time to adjust to a ww bout and he has never looked so good between fights, if you expect Hatton to be sluggish in this bout you are in for a suck.

Hatton cut corners to bulk himself up which is nutritionist kerry keyes told him not do. Hatton is more disciplined for this fight he his at 152 alreday so that suggests he will have no problem hittting the scales at about 144 or 145 so he can come in at his best weight which is 152. He Was supposed to be fight lacanzo when he fought collazo because lacanzo was injured.

    :good

i scored it a draw, hatton will never fight that badly again.
apart from the weight problem, collazo caused hatton trouble with the southpaw stance, will be intere4sting to see if pbf switches during the fight.

No Hatton will definately repeat the mistakes of the past and come in at 160 again, this will definately happen as evident by the Collazo fight.:patsch

ps - did you see the Collazo fight?

Yes I'm not saying they are similar fighters but Collazo has nice hand speed and was causing Hatton trouble with his handspeed and we all know Mayweather has gaster hands then Collazo, another thing is Hatton's body punches did not cause much damage to collazo, which is a bad sign cus Mayweather has good chin and a body armor better than Shane Mosleys. Btw Shane dealt very well with Collazo, unlike Hatton.
