    Gargabe? Nope.

Not a lot of fighters come around like that, usually people who have power tend to like to be a power puncher first, come forward type of a fighter.

Those who dont tend to like to box, and counterpunch. Or those who are chinny and dont like to take chances.

Floyd had good power and was able to catch Hatton late.

Im not saying he's going to be KOed soon again but it will happen.

People with power and/or good chin tend to be come forward fighters no?

I picked Hatton to win. Paulie is no Mayweather but Paulie did land those left hooks cleanly and often in this fight. And if Paulie had power Hatton would of gone down.

I actually called a Hatton KO/TKO at the end of the 2nd round.

There are others. Depends who Hatton wants to fight next.

    Manny wont do it.

    Oscar would murder him.

Thats cool then mate, but it def. getting WAY overused SINCE the Matweather fight. Every left hand shot that Hatton gets caught with is called a ****ing "check hook" these days...;)

I didn't even see the Lazcano fight.

I just know that when Hatton lunged in, he got hit as cleanly as he did against Mayweather with the "checkhook" KO. That's why I used it. :good

Others like WHO at 140 pounds?

its not supriseing that the Jr middleweight Oscar De La Hoya would probably hurt Ricky.... eh.... maybe not anymore but at least a few years ago your right.

but my question is aside from floyd mayweather who at 140 or even at 147 can do what your talking about?

Most fighters have holes in their defense.....to date, the only fighter to have taken advantage of that is Mayweather.

Hatton at the very least comes clean and is honest in assesing his own performance.....which is refreshing in a day and age where fighters toot their own horns.
Hatton admitted to gettting caught clean with some shots, and that he expects to work alongside Mayweather Sr. to tighten up those holes.

The thing I dislike is people in threads like these asserting that Hatton is going to be stopped against the first fighter he meets with power!

Listen guys, this is a fighter that battered Kostya Tszyu and made him surrender on his stool......

......its just not that easy, its going to take a complete fighter to beat Ricky Hatton

Ridiculous, he fought some punchers and beat them easily. What the name of the Columbian guy Urango wetn 12 with him never knocked down in that fight.

What the **** is wrong with you people? First thing is that you all say he's going to get beaten badly and then when he has a good win you all say that someone else is going to whup him?????!!! Grow up you childish, petulant pricks.

All credit to PBF for his win over Hatton but I think people seem to think that it was a complete domination simply because of the way it ended.

PBF landed a great punch + the fact that it caught Hatton coming in. It may or may not happen if they fight again. I would not totally discount Hatton's chances in a rematch, especially at 140 lbs.

Patsys and divac, thanks for rescuing this thread. Two intelligent posters in one thread is a rarity these days.
