I've came to the conclusion that Wlad would have a hard time against David Haye. I think that given 3 intense rounds of speed, agility, athleticism, and power ... that Haye has the tools to knock Wlad out if they ever fought.

I'm a huge fan of Wlad but i'm starting to think that he's at the end of his rope as far as his status as a legit threat in the division.

He's been showing too much respect to his opponents as of late and his performances are becoming more and more lackluster.

I think its time for Wlad to retire because he gets beat by an up and comer.

I don't believe that **** that Steward says about no one on their way up that can beat Wlad. Younger guys are getting their shot at the top with less than 25 fights ... I think that somewhere down the line he's going to get caught up.

He's been in the game for 12-13 yrs .... he's 32 yrs old and someone is aiming to make a name off of him.

I've been underestimating Haye's ability and Wlad's decline ... Haye can possibly knock Wlad out.

    What do you guys think?

No offense, but this is one of the more rediculous posts I've seen in a while.

Possibly. I still favour Wlad, but last night and Iggy are forcing me to up Haye's chances. He's lacking in killer instinct now, dare I say it scared, so how is he going to be against an athletic guy with power?

Fighting like that will give Haye confidence. I see Haye walking onto a right hand eventually though.

It is possible Haye could knock Wlad out but I don't think it would happen. I think Haye would get caught going for the KO, and get KO'd himself.

Is this a joke? So far the only ability Haye has shown is his ability to talk ****. Unfortunately for Haye, talking doesn't mean anything inside the boxing ring, especially against a seasoned veteran like Klitschko.

Yeah... because a fight against a tall, southpaw with good defense and a very good chin (that ends in a win by knockout)... is a clear outline of how a fight with a shorter, lighter, orthodox fighter with a more suspect chin, and hardly any experience at that weight.

Thompson and Haye are NOTHING alike. Besides that... Thompson was knocked out by Wlad.

You are mistaking Wlad being on the decline, for the fact that Wlad is always taking on all of the top fighters, of every different style. He has to adjust, and figure out each style, as he isn't handpicking his way through his opponents. I would be easy to knock everyone out early, and in brutal fashion if he only handpicked his way through opponents that were taylor made for him.

The speed of Haye is evident and the power is too ...

Wlad got hit clean by a guy with limited schooling than Haye ... yeah Thompson was tall, but he wasn't fast ... his defense wasn't all that good ... he was fighting scared the whole fight and trying to get confident ...

I think Haye fights at a faster pace and could give Wlad trouble early on in the fight ... Thats the same thing that has hurt Wlad in the past ... he's been in there againt Sanders who started fast ... and Brewster who let him tire himself out.

I also think that Wlad's lack of a body attack will hurt him against Haye who would be in his chest all night.

He really needs improvement and stop slap jabbing his opponents too much. Maybe try to focus on his speed and more combinations. Power is there but never uses it greatly.

I think Haye is faster than any opponent that Klitschko has faced and that Klitschko has been getting hit ... he's been getting hit flush by guys ... now he's stood up to those punches but at the same time ... you got a guy like Haye who has power in his right hand ... come over the top of one of those jabs and takes Wlad out of there.

I'm not giving Wlad more than 5 rounds against Haye ... and personally as a fan I think he should retire.
