Garcia would get badly beaten up by Thurman i just feel Garcia has already peaked.

I really feel Garcia should get rid of his dad and get a better trainer ever since the Matthysse win things have gone downhill he is a talented kid.

Garcia wouldn't even make ruslan flinch man come on you can do better than that ruslan's chin is iron this is not khan lol

 

He didn't knock out Herrera or Peterson.

He can land it all night against ruslan the guys chin is iron never seen him in trouble.

 

Unsure what to think of Garcia at the mo. On one hand he was legitimate wins over Khan and Matthyse (who at the time was being massively hyped), on the other, he quite clearly lost to Herrera and really struggled with Lamont.

To say Matthsye doesn't have a chance in a rematch is far too dismissive. Yes Garcia did a good job in beating him fairly in the first fight, but his subsequent performances have been far less than what we're accustomed to seeing of him. Matthyse on the other hand has shown he's still very much a top 140lb contender.

It could well all be attributed to styles, but I wouldn't be so quick to rule out the possibility that perhaps Garcia is already past his best. Will give him the benefit of the doubt for now and see how he does in his next fight.
