Interesting view . How do you score Guerrero lands a double jab . Garcia land hard uppercut , Guerrero land a hard left hand ? The commentators had Garcia winning every round . This pot shooting BS in Pro boxing needs to go. This was a close fight not 8 rounds to 4 .
Guerrero basically had no gameplan. He started the first round well but offered nothing else beyond what he was doing in the first round. It's obvious Garcia was going to figure him out. Think about Guerrero, throwing only powerless arm punches from close range, the aggression he was imposing was not effective enough. Guerrero's physically weak. He does throw some decent shots when in deeper waters but there was no adjustments made by Guerrero, and a very basic game. Easy to pick off, easy to outhustle.
Cheer squad how, clown? Get a better tv and stop being influenced by nerds online. I watched this fight clearly in HD with Keith Thurman and Brian Kenny on the mic. Guerrero was hitting gloves all night and not doing ****, he was a walking punching bag. Garcia landed at will and beat him up. 9 rounds to 3 is the correct score, anything more than that is generous. Honestly cannot believe this is controversial.. atsch
I agree with what you have mentioned, The 1st 4 rounds it was in Guerrero's favor 3-1 but then Garcia found his range and was hitting Guerrero at will and took control from 5th round to 12 and Guerrero took the 12th so I had it 8-4 Garcia
Guerrero won 4 rounds at best. 3 of the early ones, and 1 late one. Give him another late one if you have pity on him. But that's it. No way Guerrero won 6 rounds, let alone 7. He was walking into hard clean counters the whole second half of the fight and barely landed anything himself.
8-4 is legit. Guerrero was competitive the first half of the fight. After that, he got his ass beat. Simple as.
Can't see any objective individual scoring this fight in Roberts favor. You can argue 7/5 Garcia I guess but that's about it.
