GGG is actually very beatable and probably won't make it past cotto much less canelo or any of the top middleweights...watching the fight saturday night, I kinda got caught up in the sudden devastation of the KO. But after watching it again, it looked better than it actually was.... i can see that rubio was actually doing very well in the first round....rubio is slow...ggg looked slow too. rubio was landing some decent counters and forced ggg to clinch a couple of times. ggg also missed a lotta punches and rubio is no defensive wizard...

.ggg's biggest attributes seem to be that he puts a lotta pressure and he hits hard. he's also very skilled.

his drawbacks are that he doesn't have great defense, he's slow of foot and hand and doesn't react well to geting hit himself. his age is going to be a proglem going forward...he'll be 33 by the time he fights cotto or canelo. his fans better enjoy these wins over mediocrities like rubio, stevens and geale while they last, because ggg will never achieve elite status.

Seems like you're still having trouble understanding this.
Gennady Golovkin IS the top middleweight.

ring magazine has cotto as the middleweight champ...canelo and lara can easily make 160 and they have far better resumes than ggg's.

Yet you hang on the bollocks of an actual overrated fighter in Khan

    Priceless.

He's beaten top 5-10 opponents with ease, the top men have been avoiding him for years. Oh and if I'm not mistaken he fought Rosado with the flu and still owned him.

Firstly award is at 168 how many times do ****wits like you needs to be told this.

Secondly Macklin, Stevens, Geale, Rosado and Rubio whilst not elite are certainly better than c-level journeymen. Plus it's amazing that actual fighters and knowledgeable trainers etc rave about him yet you cannot see it :patsch

    Golovkin is elite.
