ok, but taylor is a different kind of fighter than golovkin. cotto would beat golovkin because cotto is not flat-footed. he's strong and still relatively fast and mobile. he's got good lateral movement and he can punch from angles. styles make fights.... because he's so slow, the secret to beating golovkin is movement, a good jab and counter punching.

Cotto is not a real middleweight. He fought old injured Martinez @ catchweight to pick that belt. Golovkin would using his long Jab and his footwork to walk cotto down

I might not agree with all of the things you listed but I did noticed GGG got buzzed and hugged a few times:hey

I still like his style as it makes for exciting fights. He has killer power and will take one to land 3:bbb

His age at this stage is of mild concern but time is not on his side:good

cotto would destroy any version of serg. he was crippled from being concussed vs cotto.

but cotto loses badly and quickly to ggg. bad bad fight for cotto.

Yeah, take the Rosado fight as your proof that GGG is mediocre. That fight was almost called as GGG had the flu and a 104 fever. That is why he didn't destroy Rosado early and just beat him into a corner submission. All why being sick as a dog. :tired

I predicted Rubio wouldn't win a single round in that thread and he didn't.

He was no good. GGG should of fought somebody better. And now he is going back to MC to fight yet another blow over.

To be fair to Rubio he did deliver one hell of a performance against David Lemieux.
Lemieux has a knockout ratio to rival GGG and is probably the only active middleweight who can come close to matching Golovkins power.
If I remember correctly Rubio was being dominated in that fight too until he started to land some good counters and turned the tide.

Rubio quit. Some say GGG is declining. No one can tell from that farce of a fight. I want to see GGG against real competition.

Fight Ward. If Cotto and Canelo are not there you have to fight someone with a name. Not another Rubio type.
