After watching the Tarver fight yesterday....did anyboy else wonder..........

Well.........it was really all a matter of circumstances... in his prime Roy would have ALWAYS beat him...

If Tarver learns to use his jab more instead of mostly a range finder his attack would be pretty awesome..

 

Was it a bad fight because I don't think it was on in britain. Would he Beat Clinton Woods or JC on that basis.

 

I don't think Tarver liked it when Jim Grey implied that he was afraid to fight some of the bigger names right now (I think they said it was Dawson or Johson), and was intentionally pricing himself out to keep from having to take the fight...............

Tarver does seem to have slipped alot, and I agree, its hard to believe he beat Jones, twice........................and I hope Jones gets the chance, one more time, to set that right.....................


....but that said, Tarver sure does have a hot woman. Gotta give him credit there. But it was probably the Rocky money that attracted her.

 

Tarver was a lot better a few years ago, but at the same time, Roy was nearly done.

 

I'm just glad he is not as cocky in his interviews. What hopkins did to him really shut his mouth to a certain degree, he used to talk more **** than james toney.
