Khaosai Galaxy was at the end of his career for the begining of the 20 years ago period. Both Chavez and Nelson did a lot in the time span, but both did have a lot of success before it as well. Part of the reason I called Whitaker the greatest of the past 20 years is how he performed against these two ATG fighters.

    for me, it is:

    1) Roy Jones
    2) Sweet Pea

both were outstanding, but Jones had the faster hands, the more power, the more exciting style, and the more exciting fights (toney, hopkins, hill, etc).

Sweet Pea was a defensive genius, and had very quick reflexes and decent hand speed. But nowhere near the speed and power of jones.

I never EVER got bored in a jones Fight....period.

Not to be a *****, but have you seen these fights? The Toney fight is exciting to watch for the 1st and maybe 2nd time just because RJJ was so dominant against a guy of Toney's caliber, but apart from the KD there was very little action or drama to be excited about. The Hopkins fight was fought at a generally slow pace and at a distance between two great fighters in their 1st title fight, not anymore exciting than either of Whitaker's wins over McGirt, or the win over Nelson, or the fight with Chavez. RJJ vs Hill had one exciting moment, in the 4th when RJJ smacked Hill with one of the best bodyshots I've ever seen, stopping the fight. Those 4 rounds were not really exciting either. I'm not saying as a whole RJJ wasn't more exciting, because quite honestly, if you want to compare both to Arturo Gatti or Bobby Chacon or Manny Pacquiao or someone like them, their both boring (Pea is one of my all-time favorites as is RJJ). And anyway, excitement doesn't equal greatness.
