After Quintana-Williams, there's another player in 147-pound land - Carlos Quintana to join Williams, Cotto, Cintron, Margarito, Mosley, Judah, Clottey and more players such as Berto and JCC jr are expected to join soon ( with other upset results to come next against the aforementioned). Why do we have always to have Mayweather as a reference? Specially when he is said to fight ODLH in September... He is simply not going to fight anyone else in 2008 with a fight in September - one tals about one Mayweather opponent in February 2008 and that doesn't make any sense in 2009!!!

PBF beat Baldomir and Spinks beat Piccirillo. Forest beat Mosley twice.
    Forest beat them both.

    1-Miguel Cotto

    2-Shane Mosley
3-Antonio Margarito (Just to dispell the myth of Floyd ducking him)
    4-Vernon Forrest
5-Ricardo Mayorga (ACT like you wouldn't watch every press conference, ever ep of 24/7 and the fight itself)

Cotto is #1 and the drop off after that is pretty large

Floyd doesnt run at all...he BOXES. There is a difference. Spinks runs. You cant run and get kos. Stop hating on him. I understand that you want someone to beat him but calling him a runner is just dumb. Hes jus smart.

    Right now
    1. Cotto
    2. Sugar Shane, he's been calling Floyd so why not

    IMO
Cintron (nah!) Margarito (nah!) De la Hoya (nah!) Berto (nah!) Hatton (nah!)

    IMO
Not too much competition for Floyd, he wouldn't fight against Forrest and I wouldn't want to see Spinks vs Floyd (can you imagine that fight zzzz)

Ok. I'll make a new list.

    1. Cotto: He has probably a better resume than Mayweather at 147. He is the #1 contender and also a P4P fighter. They fight must happen, it is the last fight that Mayweather needs to complete his legassy. Cotto also needs to fight Floyd if he wants to improve his resume.

    2. Mosley: He's almost 37 years old and past his prime, and just lost a fight. However, he's still a name and it would be cool to see them fight. But it's not a priority, it would just be nice to see them in the same ring.

    3. Spinks: The #1 contender at 154. The fight would be a borefest, but Spinks is the best at Light Middleweight.

    4. De la Hoya: It can't be bad to fight a giant name like De la Hoya again.

    5. Forrest: His wins over Baldomir and Picirilo are not impressive, and he got a gift against Quartey, and he's 37 years old. But if this fight happens, I wouldn't complain.

    6. Quintana: Just because he's a contender at 147. But he's nothing special, and not a big name. He was also defeated by Cotto, so if Mayweather beats Cotto it would be enough.

    6. Margarito: Margarito is not elite level and his resume is very poor, but there have been so many assholes saying that Mayweather ducked him that it would be cool to see Mayweather beat him.

    7. Williams: It would be cool because of styles, because he would be dangerous for Mayweather. The size, the workrate. However, he is not a Top5 Welterweight anymore.

    8. Cintron: I think Cintron is a fringe contender that was lucky to win a belt. This is why I put him at #8.

Mayweather also called out Mosley. The fight didn't happen.

Are you talking about the time when Shane was moving to 147, while Floyd was at 130. Or when Shane said no seeing as his boss was going to take him?

Yeah, I really doubt it will happen, but it will be great to see them fight.

HHHmmmmmm! Who do I WANT Mayweather to fight.

How about Wladimir Klitschko, just to watch little Mr Money Man get his ass drilled through the canvas with one punch.:good :happy :hi:

Yeah that's who I'd WANT him to fight.

However who should he fight. Well that is a no-brainer. Cotto....Who else?

    3.Cotto
    4.Cotto
    5.Cotto
... then anyone with a belt at welterweight to unify... the winner of Margarito - Cintron or Quintana.
