Doesnt matter, record (resume) seems to be the be all here on ESB, in fact the sole reason that most rate MP over FM when he is clearly an inferior boxer... doesnt matter that DLH was drained, Morales & Barrera were way past it, they are 3 of the 5 trump cards (the others being Hatton & Cotto) used when discussing who is the best of the generation... it should work both ways.... if FM beats Mosely, thats a gem of a card to play in these topics, no questions or excuses.

If Floyd beats Shane and Manny, I'd give him major credit. These 2 guys are his biggest threats at 147 and by beating both of them, it will pretty much silence his critics regarding his lackadaiscal opposition at welter.

Funny since it's the Floyd fanboys who are saying how bad Pac and Shane really are, or how easily Floyd will beat them....

Bottom line is, Floyd gets credit for beating either guy.

lets put it this way, Pac had less critics before he beat Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto than after. Its like before he was a great fighter, but he was not so popular, so he had alot of critics but the numbers were not so crazy. Now that he is popular, the number of critics is off the charts. Floyd became really popular after his win over Gatti and even more after his win over Oscar.

The more known you are, the more critics you have. Bottom line.

Also, did you say Hatton was p4p#2 when Floyd fought him or did I misread that? I doubt Hatton came within top5 or even close

I KNOW....I GUESS IT DOES COME OFF LIKE IM YELLING:good WHO YOU LIKE IF FLOYD FIGHTS MOSLEY? PICK?

Ill take Floyd SD...I think Mosley will do enough to get 1 judge to see his side...I also think Floyd might suffer his second KD of his career in this fight...I don't see Shane outboxing Floyd nor catching him clean with something that can put him out...

There are two reason for that. ONE is how Pac beat oscar and cotto. Using weight to his advatage. Having weakened fighters do to pre-fight demands is something that should be questioned. *******s are up in arms about the blood issue saying that it will weaken Pac, yet Oscar fighting at a weight that he hadnt fought at in many years over 10 I believe without checking. ONLY the Hatton fight was legit and that is using Pac as an example when he blamed his lose to Morelas on having blood drawn.

TWO is the wild claims that *******s started to make after Pac won those fights, stuff like What pac did was greater then Armstrong holding the featherweight, lightweight and Welterweight titles all at the same time, and How Pac was the greatest fighter of all times, based on beatting some old fighters in MAB and Morelas, and couple weight drained fighters in Cotto and Oscar.

At the same time most people felt that he twice lost to JMM. That has been the reason for the backlash towards pac

What are you talking about?? The floyd v hatton fight took place dec 2007, this is the ring mag rankings at the time for welterweight

    Floyd
    Cotto
    Williams
    Mosley
    Cheato
    Judah
    Cintron
    Collazo
    Clottey

Hatton was only ever ranked at light WW and at the time cotto was one place above hatton in the p4p listings, at 7.
