lol i'd take an avater bet at 117 anyday of the week, pascal will lose a wide UD no doubt. But i prefer a "do not set foot on this site forever after" bet.
Pascal is an excellent fighter. He is being underrated because of his loss to Froch, who, in my opinion, is one of the best talents in the sport today. Pascal's two wins over top light heavyweight adrian diacanu nearly surpass anything dawson has done in the past 2 years in the division. Dawson's only good win is against a weight drained adamek.
Love Pascal but don't see how he has much of a chance here. 10% chance IMO. He may be the youngest fighter Chad has faced in a while, but not the best. Not the strongest, not the most powerful, not the most skilled. Perhaps the fastest, but thats about it.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if Pascal wins by KO but I would be if he wins on points. He probably hits harder and has a better chin than Dawson but will be too easy for Dawson to hit. I don't expect him to get stopped but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a complete shutout for Dawson.
I want Pascal to win and the closer the fight gets the more of a chance I feel he has. Its a pick- em fight right now for me, complete 50/50. Heart says Pascal SD or late KO. Head says very close UD for Dawson with Dawson also getting knocked down mid-to-late, though I'm not certain that just seems a realistic, likely outcome.
Dawson does tend to take off rounds and fall into lulls of inactivity where he lets the other fighter just pound away on his guard. I think Pascal's only hope is to catch Dawson during one such respite and capitalize like Johnson, Adamek and others have been capable of doing.
