This proves that generally only HOF boxers can accompish such feat.

There are 32 three division champions so far. Who would be the 33rd?
Darchinyan, Williams, Penalosa, Lopez, Valero, Linares, Guzman, Cotto?

only five of them are not locked at the hall of fame
    gamez, montiel, barkley, mckenzie, vazquez

mckenzie won two wbo belts in the early 90s and barkley won a wbpo belt. That belt was not yet recognize that time.

you can make a case that montiel and barkley can make it to the hall of fame with proper timing...

yeah and there are fools who are saying that it was easier to go up in weight than go down. vic's fight against agbeko proved that you should not take for granted moving up in weight. it's just that guys like floyd and pac makes it look like easy.

It depends on the strength of the champions in the division above as much as anything else.

If becoming a 3-division champ is hard then being 6-division champ is doubly hard (hard-hard)...:D

Vazquez is damn near a lock, I would think...

you know, if Vic would just learn to avoid a right cross he could have won this fight easily. Watching this fight I felt the same way I did watching Pac-JMM..

"ok, he's gonna throw a cross now, move your goddam head please!"

vic is a physical fighter, fast athletic guys like roy or floyd who posess the ability to get in and out with out being seen so to speak can be much more effective.

barkley is a good example of being able to destroy hearns in the first fight bulyl and dispose of van horn after some moments of slow pacing

That said, you have to admire Pac's sustained power in coming from Light Fly to 145 catchweight. It's something that really stood out for me last night. I was thinking that if Darchinyan had hit anyone with some of the shots he landed on Agbeko at 112 and 115 he'd probably had knocked them down and/ or out. I'm not trying to be a nuthugger, though- please be gentle ESB posters!:patsch

If he wanted to suck off Pac he could of just narrowed it down to 6 division champions.

well darchinyan's fought hard *******s at 3 different weights: FLYWEIGHT - pacheco, SUPER FLYWEIGHT - mijares, kirilov, arce, gorres, BANTAM - agbeko.

vic doesn't seem to have the size to go up the weights. he can be - perhaps already is - one of the best ever at 115. which is an achievement in itself. it doesn't mean a guy with titles at 3 weights is necessarily better.

he reminds me more of azumah nelson. stocky guy. dreamed of being lightweight champ. settled with being one of the best ever at super feather as well as being a former featherweight king. nelson "only" won titles at 2 weights, as has vic.
