Time to separate the one-hit wonders from the kings...or kongs, as the case may be. :bbb Fresh off their coming-out party victories over Vic Darchinyan and Silence Mabuza respectively, Joseph Agbeko and Yonnhy Perez will clash in a Showtime-televised IBF bantamweight title bout on my birthday (10/31 for those of you not cool enough to know). I actually rate Perez's win a little higher (tentatively, as I haven't seen it so I don't know how good Mabuza looked), as Darchinyan is actually the far more beatable h2h opponent if you can stand up to his punch - and his punch at bantam simply isn't a proven quantity. At a combined 46-1 (36) with some fair/middling wins preceding their most recent signature triumphs, this pairing would appear to promise 236+ lbs of head-on collision with no give. Who should be favored in this one? Those of you who've seen a fair share of Yonnhy, looking to you for some scouting analysis here...
