I was hoping to be able to say continuing praise for Showtime at the end of tonight.

I haven't seen the fight, I have it taped, and I'm looking forward to watching it about as much as watching Klitschko-Haye, even though I can tell already it's a more competitive, but ultimately unfair match, but let's not put Lawrence Cole off the hook for what clearly according to fans went down tonight with Russell Mora. All are accountable. Riddick Bowe, I'm sure can attest to how frustrating this kind of un-regulated ring conduct can be, and what an affront to both men's ability to do their job and the rules that were designed to protect them it is.

All four of the guys who finished the tournament, are the best solid bantamweights in the world, so of course Agbeko is entitled to a re-match, and has a chance of succeeding, but he should make it clear that he's not going to be disrespected or mistreated as a combatant, who puts his all into the sport if he does. Donaire is the cricket that kills, so if these two have mutual respect for their records, I can't see why Mares wouldn't give Agbeko another fight whenever works.

Guy is a very mobile centrifuge hurricane, and should be treated as a contender on the level with even a very quick and accurate striker who's got a long future in the sport, at all times.

I really shouldn't post any-more until I've seen the fight, but fighters will often continue with what's tolerated, even if it's outside the rules, without a substantial warning.
