I'm a huge RJJ fan, i would cream my pants if he beats Calzaghe. I'm not a Caz hater by any means, but Roy has always been one of my all time favs. That hands behind the back KO Roy pulled off years ago is the most amazing thing i have ever seen in a boxing ring

ok that said, i read a lot of " well if Hopkins can turn back the clock, then Roy can too"

    Sadly this is false

Roy's style is so reflex and speed based that he has been way more affected by age than Hopkins who has much better defensive basics.

Certain styles just don't age well. It's the same in other sports too. Serve Volleyers in tennis (Rafter and Edberg are two great examples) had to retire close to age 30 whereas baseliners like Agassi could play on for a few years longer. Server volleying is more demanding physically and requires greater reflexes than baselining

Same with boxing, roy's style is way more physically demanding than Hopkins style

I am praying for Roy not to just let Joe coast to a Unanimous decision and if he does get behind, i hope he gambles a bit
