If prime Roy Jones was not able to KO David Telesco in their fight, JC Gonzalez has no chance.

    .... What's that?

    ...... oh.

To even suggest Calzaghe ko's Hopkins is an insult to the sport.

C'mon Drexl...I'm tired of the Hopkins fans excuses too...but no way does Joe KO Hopkins. Not with thise 'punches' he throws.

Seriously fellas - do you actually believe for a second that I think Calzaghe KO's Hopkins at any stage in history, or even in his dreams?

    Gimme some credit! :yep

I'm just winding up the cry-babies. I'm sick of the excuses and whining so I'm just having a bit of good old fashioned fun these fools.

Seriously. Lets forget about the actual age of the fighters for a minute and ask the question, Who has aged more in the last 3 years performance wise. Calzaghe around the time of Veit or Hopkins around the time of Taylor?

If he would of been awarded the decision people would be praising his age !!

Enough ..Hopkins would have been outworked by Calzaghe no matter what his age ..

In an interview between the press and trainers, someone asked Shilstone if Hopkins was physically the same as he was for Tarver. Shilstone jumped all around the question and never actually answered it meaning Hopkins was not. Hopkins still looked good, no doubt, but again age was a factor since there was a decline even though it may have just been slight.

nobody is discrediting joe, his last 2 performances as calzaghe said so himself winky - small man. Tarver, i give him credit for that. I give props to calzaghe for beating hopkins. But you can't erase the fact that hopkins was old and past his prime.

Heck nobody is crying, in fact it is a good win for calzaghe. The topic was about age being a factor, well it is, not just in boxing but it applies to life in general.
