A punchers chance. He did knock out a lightweight champion.

Harada (of Famechon 1) might give him some pause before getting broken down. Particularly with his lead.

As stated, Saldivar had natural counter tendencies, and his aggression was fueled by his unending gas tank, and was usually a response to the counter. Which is why he would trouble Salvador so much.

Bassey was also a good mention.

I wonder how Antonio Gomez would have done? He wasn't a pure aggressor, but he very aggressively baited the lead in order to counter, in Napoles style fashion. I think the Gomez from the Saijo match could also give him some restless moments (though not win). He was a very talented, but inconsistent, fighter.

Here (Gomez vs Saijo, 7 minutes) for those interested:

Might not be the sort of fighter you're looking for but what about featherweight Eder Jofre?

I feel this, as Arguello was a very great fighter. However, Arguello often beat guys that lost their cool. Prior seemed to surprised Alexis by (despite his windmill attack) seemed to have at least some sense of reserve.

Salvador was the quintessence of cool. As hard as he'd eventually be hit by Arguello, Sanchez would just go back to being chill and staying out of the way. Alexis gets beaten by Sanchez's calm perseverance, irritatingly precise punches, and finally gets stopped in the 12th.

Still like the Fenech shout as well as Sadler which is 50/50.
Arguello beats him hands down IMO
