Agit Kabayel is the best body punching heavyweight since

In the meantime, I think he isn't comparable to anyone. This economic punching, punch selection, head-body-body-head | touch-touch-bang ...relentlessly! So calm and accurate. It is just unmatched. We had Morisson back than in the 90s with nice body combos...much more explosive but less economic and wide open + vulnerable while punching. And also Tyson in the 80s. I think his best bodyshot-o-rama was in early 1986 when he chopped down Jesse Ferguson.
Still, not close to Kabayel in terms of repetitive body shots or head / body ratio.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves. It is enjoyable watching a man in close range wrap behind almost kidney shotting dudes.

Wait till there is someone who can move a little and stick a proper jab on him.
Zhang started way too fast and is on the steep decline. 150 years old.

All this mid crop of heavies who are gunning for a title shot could easily lose to one another. Fury & Usyk are set apart because of their boxing ability which won't be matched but they could come unstuck in front of the right young man, obvoisly bodyshots on Usyk make Kabayel a legit threat but Usyk can outbox him.

Dubious did well to fall ill to go straight into a Usyk bout. Bakole got desperate flying out to fight Parker but it really doesn't effect his state of play or positioning. AJ is a bodybuilding bum expecting cheap easy wins as usual, feed that fool to the lions again. Fury is on a mini vacation but I fully expect him to enter the market again when things cool down a little, let the up and comers get some actions and deal with each other.

All eyes on Dubious Usyk. If Usyk dominates we'll get one more fight out of him otherwise I think he'll call it a day at 38 years old.

 

Lenier Pero.

Pero is another great body puncher. He broke three of Viktor Faust's ribs in his win over him.

The problem is Pero hasn't fought much at all the last two years. However, he's an excellent body puncher.

 

I don't think I've ever seen a top level HW go so consistently to the body from the opening bell to the finish the way Agit did against Zhang. That's literally something completely new in my viewing experience.

 

Kabayel really trusted his own chin to take Zhangs power by getting that close to Zhang. It paid off.

Ruiz Jr and Kabayel would be a good fight on the inside

Witherspoon consistently went to the body. Cooney threw some wicked body shots too.

 

Riddick Bowe was a top body puncher and of course Mike Tyson. Joe Frazier was probably the best body puncher ever.

It is really refreshing to see a proper serious body puncher come on the scene in HW boxing in Kabayel, it was like watching old-school boxing - it was fantastic. Each body shot was brutal, it was thrown with genuine mean intentions, I don't think some people realise how painful each of his bodyshots was, I was feeling it watching it from my sofa. I think it will be super interesting to see how a very strong body puncher in Kabayel will match up against a proper mover/outboxer.

 

Fury goes to the body pretty good as well and he does it from longer range because he is so big.

 

Very hard to say. I don't want to get carried away but maybe the best since the days of a young Tyson or peak Riddick Bowe.

 

It would be an interesting fight . I also strongly assume usyk would school kabayel badly but nevertheless he might be finally deadly to usyk .

Kabayel has zero fear , we saw it after the knockdown in rd5 where he was instructed to play it safe but he instead immediately searched the infight again and kept on attacking .

When kabayel enters the ring with zero fear and respect usyk will have problems to play out his superior skills

 

Kabayel's body attack against tall guys looks unstoppable. A large torso looks like such a huge target to him. His left hook looks like it just can't miss the body.

 

The way to beat a guy like fury has always been pressure and a good body attack (like a Ricky Hatton or Joe Frazier). There haven’t been many hw with a good body attack recently, but usyk did it, and Kabayel may have a lot of success
