Fair enough. I'm not sure about Chisora in 2017 being exactly prime though. Not shot to be sure, but he did have a decade on the odometer with a style where he takes a lot of shots, and seven losses already. Wouldn't exactly call that version of him poppin' fresh. (although he did still have some decent wins ahead of him)
Derek's a guy for me that never really had a peak, more like a 10 year window where he'd give hell to anyone but the best. Unlike most I consider him a good win, considering Parker and Whyte barely beat him at this point.
I start it off as 50/50, but Kabayel's chances go up with each passing round where he doesn't get clipped. By mid-fight, I'd put all the money on Kabayel. But if he gets clipped good early on, early into a round? That might be that. Zhang's career has two problems at this point. Age and that he's too high a risk, too low a reward. You beat him? Ok you beat a 40 year old with no stamina, and the purse probably wasn't great. He takes your head off? You risked that for a purse that wasn't that great, against a guy who wouldn't bolster your resume all that much, why? My hope for Zhang is that Turki make some interesting chances happen for him, takes care of the low reward problem. He's fun to watch and seems like a humble dude. Plus he's such a novelty. A 6'6", 280lb Chinese heavyweight who hits like Foreman? Like, where the hell did that come from?
Kabayel is solid and has the attributes to beat Zhang, especially as the fight goes longer, but I fancy Zhang to KO him early. Too powerful and sneaky on the counter. Kabayel leaves enough openings for Zhang to capitalize on.
Kabayel and the guys he beat are still fighting the likes of Christian Hammer, Nagy Aguilera or Mariusz Wach for a reason. No championship material.
