Agree. It may not be one of the very few of all time, but it's certainly up there.

Very, very good, not sure that I would go that far though.

Agree, there's been men with better ( Robinson, Louis, Williams ), but Leonard had one of the best

As others have said its clearly an atg left hook but not one of the absolute, absolute best left hooks ever. Not as good as Frasier or Olivares, Liston, or Ray Robinson but at least as good as Dempsey, Gomez, or Jackson.

An excellent left hook, but one of the ATGs? Not in my opinion. Too many fighters accomplished far more with their left hooks than SRL. Stopping Green isn't that glossy of an achievement when stacked against those of the truly great left hookers of history.

He's not up there with Bob Foster and a few other "knock 'em dead" luminaries but Ray's left hook was a vicious weapon nevertheless...delivered in combos with great speed and accuracy..and I'm sure that "Boy" Green would agree with that.

Not it's not an ATG left hook, but his best punch imo

There have been so many great left hooks over the years. Leonard's doesn't rate among the best in its power, his right hand was probably equally powerful. What does rate highly is the speed of his left hand. Few could match it.

Like Roy Jones, he was outstanding with each punch. Nothing in particular stands out above the rest.

Green had tasted another sleep-inducing left hook before in his career:

Palomino's left hook to the body was even more crippling:

When he was on it, Sugar Ray's left hook was tight.

Nothing like a top 10 left hook or anything like that.

Good enough to compliment his jab and right hand which were more like ATG punches.
