    It's on like Donkey Kong

Well a lot of **** has just happened in the past few hours globally, and it seems that both sides have agreed to fight each other in a WBC sanctioned bout for the WBC Diamond title.

This is of course assuming that they both get through their next bouts in Schwarz/ Rivas.

    According to media reports:

If Dillian beats his next oppoent Rivas he will become mandatory for Wilder HOWEVER, Wilder will be allowed a fight in October before Whyte gets his chance.

If/After Whyte beats Rivas WBC will order Whyte vs Fury for the Diamond Belt.

lol still with me? Yeah it's all confusing at ****.

Bottom line, Whyte is being dragged through hell hahaha.

Name one other champion in history that will have gone through this much trouble prior to a world title shot??

Granted Whyte refused the AJ lowball offer, but he's been trying to get at Wilder for years.

I think 'confirmed' requires a link at least?

I found some Hearn quotes, but it's very, very thin...

Barring any further corroboration, this reads like Hearn pushing his interpretation of how things should go. So Fury has accepted based on an interview quote, or that the act of writing to the WBC means they accept the Matchroom interpretation of how it should be.

As I say, it's not the same as confirmed...

I can't believe the distance between those two opponents. And Fury's the lineal champ
I hope Wilder loses to Ortiz so Whyte can beat him and shut Ortiz fans up.
Two mint fights. Whyte yet again taking on the best he can, usually the best out of anyone
    I got you
He really has the WBC are bunch of pricks
    Jack Johnson...
That offer was a bit of a joke. Imagine thinking that it was a duck, like you duck AJ to go and fight wilder when there's more money in the AJ fight lol

Good to see Whyte getting a crack at the lineal title.

I can remove confirmed from the title if it has offended people, but for the backstory, WBC ordered dillian to fight Tyson Fury for mandatory.

Tyson rejected, saying make it for the WBC Diamond Belt and you got a deal.

Since then, according to reports, WBC have agreed to order a fight between Fury and Whyte for the diamond belt should both men beat their currently scheduled opponents as both sides have agreed to the fight.

So then if both sides agree, and it is for the WBC Diamond Belt which both men want, and they both get through Schwarz/Rivas..... how does this fight not happen?

If this happens and Fury beats Whyte, does he have the best resume among heavyweights?

Fury will have prime Chisora 2x, Klitschko, Wilder, prime Whyte.

Joshua has greener Whyte and older Klitschko compared to the versions Fury fought, Parker and old Povetkin.

Wilder's best wins are old Ortiz with medical problems, Stiverne I and Breazeale.

From how I remember it, Mauricio Sulaiman said that the WBC would think about it and not that they agreed to it.
And, after that, there were no additional reports from them on the situation.

I agree, he would have the best resume, because he beat Wilder, and a prime Whyte is no joke.

If you beat this current version of Whyte, you are pretty damn strong.
