Oh, have you created a new boxing law...??? Our sport has a long tradition of talking trash pre-fight...and being gracious post fight. That fact must not fit your agenda. So in your opinion Toney is classy, because he showed undeniable class in his defeat of Holyfield...??? Like when he took his belt, like when he told the media Sam is afraid of him...like when he said that he has spies watching his camp. Right, tons of respect. You think...??? That was just one of the displays of his lack of class...do you think he was a gracious winner...??? Great, look past the thread that includes the comments we are discussing to point at something else...and you want to talk about an agenda...??? The display of his lack of class is right in this very thread. :deal
You are stupid...I call it like I see it. I said Peter has been smashed out of the title picture. This thread is about ViTKLiT's lack of graciousness post-fight. ViTKLiT is a good fighter but garbage as a person.
Pre-fight and post-fight has a long standing tradition in boxing of being like night and day. ViTKLiT **** on that tradition.
The track record proves differently. ...and Team Peter is not stupid enough to **** all over what would have been their greatest accomplishment. Leave that to ViTKLiT.
It is not the topic of the thread. ViTKLiT's post fight comments are. Feel free to start a new one though.
All due respect to you, Suge. But this is all just sour grapes on your part. Everyone knows that you did not like Klitschkos in the first place. Now that both are champions, you are just looking for any foothold that you can from which to diminish their success. Trouble is, you're just not going to find many people who agree with you; especially on the lack of class thing. As I said, the Klitschkos are widely regarded as boxers with alot of class. Sure, like any boxer they participate in much of the pre-fight banter that generally accompanies a fight promotion. Still, they are as gracious and respectful as any fighters in the sport. And, yes, I do believe Vitali has been a gracious winner in this instance. Besides this harmless little quip, I haven't seen or heard anything post-fight that would be construed as intentional disrespect.
Ok, since you're slow on the mataphores, I'll explain. What my comment meant was that, it's not because it's tradition that you can't change it. Your argument was that it is a tradition to be humble and classy in defeat. Vitali isn't probably because he was aggravated by Peter's camp aggressions during the fight build-up. You have your opinion, you don't like the way he handled it but then again... you're not his mother are you?:rasta
I wasn't slow, your comment just had no relevance to the conversation, even by metaphor. I am a member of the boxing public, and I voice my disaproval at his classless behavior.
WTF are you and when have you ever added anything useful to any dialogue...??? Bottom feeding foolish KLIT-ite.
