I dont know why they would laugh about it, it exploits the sport and makes it look cheap, like some WWF fixed fight crap.

No-one is laughing. Local Regulators for legal reasons are restricted what they can & cannot do in regard to visitors e.g. Thais, Indos, Filipinos, Fijians, Kiwis etc (whereupon they don't posses government registration)
e.g. Thai Bigshotcamp's first fight in Aust was in Victoria, therefore, whenever he fights here, he fights with Vic licence. Providing his medical, serology is up to date, there's no legal reason to decline a clearance. Same applies to other States. The fact they might consider him over-matched/useless is not a legal reason.

As I mentioned many times before in other forums, legislation & rules and regulations clearly outline promoter's responsibility. In the event the Regulator is of the opinion Promoter has seriously breached any of it......It's handed over to Police.

“Sanction” tends to confuse. Title governing bodies Sanction fights. Regulators, for legal reasons, don't approve nor disapprove any fight.

Briggs vs Green investigated because it was suspected to be a fixed fight yet this one is just allowed to slip by? it should be investigated given the evidence supporting a fixed fight/ dive took place.

Yeah! Everyone, you & I agree. But without proof, there's very little WA Commission could do.
If it went down that track, it would no doubt lead to possible litigation, which WA Government wouldn't like one bit.
However, as to why WA Commission saw fit to register Briggs, after NSW & VIC declined to do so...remains a mystery?

Not really , WA , Has some sort of inferiority complex , regarding the Eastern states , some over there would actually like to see them secede from the rest of Aust , Green is there version of a national treasure , and what he says goes , the commision are little ameteurs playing profesionals , and there is no way are they going to give up there 5 minuites in the limelight on a big fight occasion .

Remember that was there version of Paman v Mayweather , The dolly birds are out in force , the gangsters , the bikies , the pollies , everyone wants to be involved in the westvegas type show ,

The thought of Briggs getting seriously hurt or being used , just did'nt factor , after all he said he was ok , and King Danny wanted it so it must happen , where else are they going to put there jackets on , and walk about with there clipboards ,

That fight was has important to the officials for there own ego , has it was to Greeny for his bank balance .

Looks like the local crims and muslim gangs , found it an important night has well ,

In fact , if there was a way you could find out the names of people who made some serious money . some might be suprised who they were , then again they may not be suprised . That was a black night for Aussie boxing , but has far has i'm concerned , just one of many .

Personaly its bollocks and **** like that, and fights like Dib , which is why i will not be involved with boxing , after 50 odd years in the game in one way or another , i'll only go to the pub to watch the Paquio's and Mayweathers of the world

It seems the combat sports now use the WWE rule book. As long as we keep the fans "entertained" **** the actual sport. The way people pick out their own opponents and carry on may be boxing should go down the wrestling path .We would see some better fights than the one sided affairs now . Ican see it now Billy Hussains boys could be the bad guys v the rest.

Good on you TC Boxer for your efforts ,but they dont give 2 ****s by what they've replied back to you..
It will have to take for someone to die in the ring before they really look Into it appropriately...And it's going to happen one day soon,a death in boxing.
How poorly run is our Sport now,it's going to get worse,if this carnage of mismatches continue.
All for a Win at all cost, fight someone good, win lose draw, take it like a man..It's not the end of the world..
