mixed bag of results... congrats to the boys who have won their opening bouts!! noticed Clay Waterman made it to the semi's.... any chance of him gettin the gold??
He has already defeated the favorite in the division who was fighting in his home country. can only hope he takes the gold.
Clay is fighting a fella from Romania in the semis who has had wins over an armenian and an Uzbeki. Jai Opetaia defeated Ruslan Yurchenko (RUS) to progress to semis as well. Good luck to the boys
Both Boys won their semi final fights. Clay 46kg won semi on countback and faces a fighter from Iraq for gold. Jai 80kg beat a russian 17-7 in semi and now fights a German for gold. Great achievement for the aussie team. Good luck chasing GOLD
