Aik Shakhnazaryan is a 5'5.5 21 year old Light Welterweight with a 15-0 8 KO's record. The Humanoid of Samara, Russia of Armenian descent is already at 21 in possession of the WBC Baltic title and WBO European title, while he doesn't have very many KO's but they have been picking up more and more with his recent outings, and even in his 2 most recent UD's he dropped both opponents twice, so he's learning on the job. He has an incredibly awkward herky jerky style with a lot of in and out movement that keep his off their game, so with time and possibly a better trainer who can hone and fine tune some of his strengths, The Humanoid may become a force to be reckoned with at LWW and since he's still basically a boy eventually a star at Welterweight as well. So prepare yourselves The Humanoid is Coming.:scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas:I like Aik:yep Do You?

At 5'5 he could easily hide behind The Gargantuan Dong, no one would ever find him:rofl Maybe Jacory is there too.

In order to make Dong go down, it would take an enormous amount of blows from GGG.:deal

LOL @ Aik vs Gil ending. First time I watched it. Aik looking fairly embarrassed already holding his glass trophy (whatever the hell it is) and and Gil kinda wtf:huh. Both really looking like they'd rather be somewhere else.:bolt

Still - it's nice to see some attention bought to the prospects originating from the regions East of the ol' Iron Curtain who ain't simply known for knocking guys out or as straight up brawlers like El Ruso or Provodnikov.

There's plenty of 'em already fighting successfully on the US scene (Allakhverdiev, Postol, Shafikov and Novikov (- robbery dammit!:D -) to name but a few) but a combination of factors has led to them not getting the same attention as the big KO artists. Guess if you ain't from the traditional boxing heartland, you need something extra to make you stand out.

That's part of the reason I hadn't made a thread for him yet, I've had it in the back of my mind for about a week, since you mentioned him, and every time I started to do it, I figured no one would care because of the low KO ratio:patsch Which is very unfortunate for them because they miss out on a lot of good fighters by being so dismissive of fighters like Postol and Khabib.

Well. given that half the posters on the thread are still chuckling over the Giant Dong, there's probably some work still to be done.

Nonetheless, like any relentless Stakhanovite, such challenges should serve merely to fuel you like black bread and vodka.

Stakhanovite indeed:yep ordered by Stalin himself, that should send some posters scrambling for Wikipedia:rofl Wait and see the obscure phrase I use in the title of the next thread:D
