Right now, the squad is going for a walk, then a late breaky, then a swim, before some training this arvo (french time) to prepare for the 2nd tour Match against the French u17, Sat morn Aussie time. We spoke to tour manager Dave Norman who said the coaching staff were pleased with last nights game. As a sign of respect for the French junior rugby league which has vastly improved over the past few years, the AIS began their stay in France a few days early to have a better preperation for the 1st game which certainly had positive results on a dewy ground overnight. Dave Norman reported the French officials were amazed with the speed of the Aussies all over the paddock and said the AIS teams defence was a hightlight which rattled thier French oppontents from the start and right through the match. "A win in the 1st game is a very nice way to go into the 2nd match on Friday " Dave Norman said The boyz who didn't play in last nights match are biting at the bit to get it on in the 2nd game.
